We originally booked this hotel because they have a sunday brunch. It's also close to the casino. Unfortunately the sunday brunch kinda sucked. They didn't even have bacon, which is in our opinion a sunday brunch staple. We stated this hotel because of its location and as well It is in with walking distance for an evening out. If I could give service 100 stars I would. The staff at the Vernon Lodge and the Cabana Restaurant Lodge were terrific. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here. The food at the Cabana restaurant was excellent. I loved the Rosti breakfast which was a large potato pancake with a few choices of toppings (I have the brisket one day and the avocado tomato the next, both were terrific). It was great to wind down in the hot tub at the end of the day....
We really enjoyed our stay, we are from the area and needed to have a bit of a staycation. The only suggestion we have is that the pool is really cold. It was the main reason we booked, and we found we couldn't enjoy it for very long. I actually didn't want to get in at all, it was so cold.
