“Not only a fish market, this place has a great selection of import foods and products. Their freezer cases have a selection of meats and prepared foods that include beef, chicken, and pork options. As for the fish, you can get a lot more options than a supermarket and even get to try fish you have likely never heard of before. Freshwater options also appear on the market board outside the normal options. Have seen it is for sale so hopefully if that happens the new owners have the same dedication and care.“

“I tried C-Lovers for the first time last night. I moved to Vernon from Nova Scotia 2 1/2 years ago and have been missing good haddock ever since. Their haddock fully satisfied my cravings and gave me a little taste of home! I've never seen such a thin breading, but it was *amazing* and allows the focus to be on the fish itself! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, great portions, good fries + gravy. Also couldn't believe how quickly I got my food after ordering. Thank you for offering incredible fish and chips :-)“

“Honestly, this has been my go to Chinese food spot for a long time. It’s a staple for me. That said, I did reduce a star because lately my Monday or Tuesday takeout orders sometimes feel like reheats from the buffet rather than freshly made. I’d say about half the time it tastes freshly prepared, and the other half it seems like it’s been sitting.

The quality and flavour are still good, which is why I keep coming back. It might just be a matter of volume or how things are stocked early in the week, but tightening up the timing on freshness would make a big difference.

Still a solid spot overall, just hoping for a bit more consistency.
