This is a long overdue post.... My fiancé and I stayed at Vance Creek for his 40th birthday last year. We had planned a few things prior and due to Covid, had to make several changes to our plans so we decided to keep it local... we were so pleased that we did!We booked in initially for one night, however everything was so fantastic that we ended up extending our stay to a second night. The suite was very clean, modern, tastefully decorated and the staff was very friendly. The location is also pretty fantastic! We definitely look forward to a little staycation in the future!

It was a beautiful one night stay over there. It is bit old but very neat and clean.

Booked this hotel for a weekend getaway because of the shared hot tub and great pictures of the room, with a loaded kitchen. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told the hot tubs were closed due to ash, which was understandable but very disappointing. We checked in on a Friday afternoon and checked out on a Sunday morning. The day we got there the hallway had a pile of dirty laundry on the floor outside the room beside us, which was the first red flag. In our room we wanted to put out chips in a bowl so we looked through the cupboards and found a greasy bowl in with all of the clean dishes. We went to put it in the dishwasher but to our surprise, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. So our weekend began by cleaning up after the previous guests. When we told the front desk they just said that they would tell housekeeping for future reference, which didn’t help us during our stay. This was the next concerning discovery was the windows in the bedroom. The glass was smeared with hand, feet and lip marks so it proved that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. This is not something that you want to see while staying in a hotel, especially during covid. The dirty laundry stayed in the hallway the entire weekend so anytime we left our room we would be reminded of the lack of cleanliness. Also the guests in the room next to us were screaming and fighting all night, both nights. On the Saturday night it got to the point where we had to phone the police at 3am to check on them. The police came and left, but we were woken up around 7am due to the yelling again. When we checked out early Sunday morning, there was no one at the front desk so we left a note explaining the police situation. There was a note already there from another guest who had the same issue of being woken up throughout the night due to the loud fighting guests as well. The front desk staff called me and offered 20% a future stay. I ended up emailing to tell them about all of the issues and asked if there was a way to get a discount due to all of the inconveniences. Their response was an apology and informing me that they would talk to housekeeping again. Yet our stay was still going to be full price even though we did not have access to one of the main amenities, our room and the hallway was dirty when we checked in, and the room next to us was all night. Overall it was only enjoyable and worth more than 1 star due to the location up at SilverStar, but there are so many other hotels that would be better to stay at. Don’t stay here unless you’re happy with checking into a dirty room and being offered a 20% discount for a possible future stay. I would not recommend.

Best place that my fiancé and I have stayed at. We were in the Monashee Suite and it was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. And it was an all around great experience. We will definitely return.

Had my parents and 3 kids staying one night on the way back to Vancouver. We had booked the suite that was 2 rooms beside each other combined. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed for staying multiple nights. Unfortunately we only had time for one night and we got in late. The staff was very attentive, Hanna, sent an email in the early afternoon but I was out of reception. Then unaware she had sent an email, I got a call around 7, I presume is from her as well, wondering about why I haven’t checked in. After informing her we are going to be late, she communicated with me via text to get me all the instructions. She was responsive for me to ask her questions and the resort was accommodating. Had a very delicious breakfast at The Red Antler next morning as well. Highly recommend. We will try to come back for longer stays next time.

We loved staying at this mid mountain village resort and riding our bikes straight from the hotel down to the chair lift. Vance Creek Hotel is conveniently located, and we were able to bring our bikes to the room (as long as they were clean and dry, bike wash located right across the main entrance). Rozi at reception was exceptional, I've never met someone so friendly and willing to go out of her way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. From a courtesy check in call, to trail tips, she answered all of our questions and was always pleasant. Thanks, Rozi, you were amazing! We will definitely be back. Rooms were clean and spacious, and came with private balconies and chairs. Note: The only downside to this hotel is that the rooms do not have AC, but because it's up on the mountain, the rooms stayed cooler than we expected, even in a heat wave. All in all, the best location to stay when visiting the bike park.

Great place to book a vacation. Great service, nature and living conditions at a very affordable price. Certainly one place to recommend.
