Judging by the lack of response on reviews from ownership and management you can tell the service standards are pretty low. Waited over 30 minutes for food that never arrived, no server in sight or any type of identifiable manager on the floor. Sucks the service is crap because the food is actually decent if it shows up, won’t be rushing back.

Had some Happy Hour snacks & drinks. The sushi platter was good and the 1/2 nachos was good too. The cocktails were good too! I tried a “Shaft” which was new to me. It’s a nice mix of Bailey’s, Cold Brew & Vodka, I recommend it!
Nice patio & good service, would go back next time I’m in Victoria!

I had a great experience at 10 Acres Commons in Victoria! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I ordered the carnitas tacos, and they were absolutely delicious—full of flavor. However, the music was far too loud, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the ambiance and have a conversation. I couldn't even hear the waitress when she was explaining the menu. It definitely took away from what could have been a perfect dining experience.

Went here on Mother's Day. But 10 mins after the hostess sat us, the waitresses came over.. and basically asked what we wanted as if we were interrupting her. She proceeded to put in her sunglasses even though it wasn't even sunny out. We ordered our meals.. I ordered a steak sandwich. Didn't ask how I wanted it but did say it didn't come with a side. So I got some frys and told her I wanted my steak med rare. Food came... from another person. They put my plate down left to get the rest . My plates had a Hugh chip in it. So I mentioned it to the girl when she brought the rest of the food . And she just agreed that it was chipped and walked off. My girlfriend asked me not to make a big scene since it was Mother's Day. So.. I ate my steak. Don't know why, but they cut the steak. Which saok the garlic bread with cheese... was like eating soggy bread from a bowl of French onion soup. The steak it's self was cook med... and was so tuff. Definitely a low cost peice of meat. Also, the bowl to the frys cam in was dirty. And $8 for frys... Was never asked if the food was ok.. no refills on my pop or even the girls' drinks..
I'll take my hard earned money somewhere else as this place is definitely off my go to list..

Would’ve been 5 stars but they weren’t playing Tyla when I walked in. Somewhat displeased.

Good spot, decent food if somewhat limited for selection. Service is always pleasant and the view is lovely

🥗Lucky to have bumped in to the place last night with my Bunch of lads , found its ambients so captivating , beverage served were too spot on let alone the foods.
and definitely worth mentioning was Anup & his service delivery which I felt impeccably top notch . Head on & try out once witnessing the gastronomical 👩‍🍳and hospitable 🤵🏻‍♂️rendezvous well intertwined experience Guarenteed there :)🥂

I want to warn everyone, not just job seekers, about serious problems with 10 Acres Commons and 10 Acres Bistro. They have a history of unpaid wages and unfair treatment of employees. Management is unprofessional and dishonest. Customers should be cautious as well. Please be careful and share this to protect others.

The menu had good variety of pub foods. Nachos had cheese alllllll the way through! Steak sandwich was fabulous. Cocktails were well made. Prices were reasonable for the times. Service is friendly, consistently slow, and the kitchen struggles with special requests.

The food and service were both rather poor...granted, the server did say she was new, but it was not busy and she paid very little attention to us.
The poutine my husband ordered was swimming in gravy, which turned the fries soggy. We pointed this out and were still charged full price.
The atmosphere is fun, but we would not return.

It is one of my favorites in town, great music with different environments. Has a nice patio and also a nice bar to watch a game. I recommend the oysters, especially in happy hour, as they are half the price. The place to go for Oysters have tried many oyesyer places in town, but this is my favorite.

Looking for a quick spot for cocktails and appetizers, this place did not disappoint! Oysters were on the smaller side, butter chicken poutine was different but delicious!

I'm so disappointed. I have eaten at 10 acres bistro many times (and would call it one of my favourite Victorian restaurants) and thought I would try the commons as a date night dinner with my husband. We were seated promptly. Restaurant was about a quarter full. It took quite a while before anyone stopped to ask us if we had been taken care of (many servers had passed by us by then) and we said no. The server then took our order, we had to repeat ourselves a few times and then we never saw the waitress again. We had to ask for water. A different server brought us our drinks, another brought our food (it came quickly). No one stopped by to check if the meal was satisfactory or we needed anything. When we were done our meal another person (someone from the bar close by) took our plates away. We sat a while longer (again, multiple servers passing by) and one of the four people who had come to our table asked us if we wanted dessert or another drink. We said no, just the bill please. She came back in a few minutes with the bill and machine, with the total already in the machine (didn't give us the bill ahead of time to check it out). We paid and left. Again, so disappointed.
