49 Below is my favourite treat from a scoop in the shop or from a pint at home. The ice cream flavours are always original and evolving. My family knows there’s no other option when it comes to ice cream cakes. The quality is top notch and soooo delicious. I recommend to anyone and everyone who will listen to me to check them out. The owners are also so lovely. Support local and eat ice cream.
49 Bellow is my favorite local ice cream vendor. I remember my first bite of their frosty fun treats, and the flavor brought tears of joy to my eyes. Their delicious and wide varieties of flavor, coupled with their amazing and friendly staff, makes them a fun place to stop by on a hot day.
One of the best ice cream shops in Victoria! Always such great flavours to choose from!
Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Specifically, the Honeycomb ice cream. It’s sweet and savoury at the same time and is the perfect texture. Not too icey, not too fatty. Ice cream perfection! I’ve tried many flavours and I’ve never been disappointed. I also love the Kula Pops. We stock up regularly. They’re the perfect after dinner treat. Try the Vietnamese Coffee flavour.
Best ice cream I’ve tried in my life and I mean that. The honey and cheddar goldfish 🩷🩷
Obsessed. That's all I can say.
My only regret is that I waited so long to buy icecream from here.
They have Vietnamese Coffee icecream!!!!
Also, I'm not someone who likes honey (I really don't like it) but we tried the honeycomb flavour and it was so good, we ended up buying a pint!
First time trying 49 Below Ice Cream and it was amazing! The chocolate and Vietnamese coffee flavors were the best I’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must-try spot for ice cream lovers!
Really good ice cream. Popular ice cream company in Victoria with several locations. The new one open Wed to Sun 5 to 9 pm in Fernwood Square is great but doesn't do scoops. You can buy small containers in many wonderful flavors. Nanaimo Bar, Honeycomb, Strawberry, among my favorites.
Two-thirty in the morning in Vic. Eating Nanaimo Bar ice cream from the container. Da Bestest!. I can't stop.
Ok… so good!! Back soon

Okay. Best ice cream in town BY FAR!
I might be a little obsessed...
We live a 2 minute walk from the other popular ice cream shop in town...and we still go there, but we frequent 49 below. Incredible and very obviously isn't produced with any pre-made bases or the like.
Well done, folks! See you Sunday ❤️
I've been a loyal customer since they opened a few years ago. Their flavours are always creative but somewhat simple not too crazy so that I can be safely adventurous! My favourite so far are ube (seasonal), always & forever honey comb and strawberry milkshake! I also really appreciate they update their menu everyday on IG.
Work > Old Farm > 49below ice cream is basically my weekly routine! Thank you for always so amazing and community supporter too!
Amazing!
We had 49 Below serve ice cream at our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made!! Right from the beginning, Dan was so lovely to work with. He explained the options and we knew we needed to get the little ice cream dixie cups! They put stickers on each one with our names and wedding date - they were adorable. We had to have our absolute favourite flavour the Cinnamon Crunch (SO GOOD!!) and a classic, vegan chocolate - the guests were raving about it too. The 49 Below team was just a dream to work with - taking away any stress from our wedding day. I just remember turning around and there they were smiling with the freezer and all the ice cream cups! It was such a great part of the night. Highly recommend working with them if you can and also just going and getting ice cream on the regular!! 11/10
HUGE scoops! Wish they had some special flavors, but they had sold out from scraping buckets. Good problem to have!
