The lack of attentiveness, friendliness and warmth and then being ignored while staff chatted is enough to push me to take my money elsewhere. The yelling out of orders is very loud and takes away from a relaxing, enjoyable eating experience. Coffee urns were empty. My scone was tasty. This was my experience today in the coffee shop. I didn’t recommend it today. I might try again in a few months.

Stopped in for 2 cups of turkey quinoa soap today. $7.50 a cup which was little more than broth. Mine had almost no turkey or quinoa. Very disappointing.

I really appreciate the service we received when we showed up with my daughter with food allergies. The server was very attentive and the kitchen took extra good care of us. Not only that, but the food was delicious. Thank you!

We had a very nice lunch here recently. I had the Eggs Benny Blackstone and the were done perfectly. My friend had the Currie Chicken Crepes and enjoyed them very much.

Nice place, it would be wonderful if the staff were more upbeat and welcoming.
Your first display case with food below the cashier has Flies crawling around on the food.
Shouldn't all of your food be wrapped to prevent this and spreading diseases?

We sat outside on the patio. Great experience with three generations of family. My go to has always been the smoked salmon bagel. Very fresh.
My table mates each got the carrot cake. Three layers and a huge portion.
Friday afternoon and we had to wait a moment to get a parking spot, so its quite popular with all of the surrounding market stores.

Parking: There are several handicap spots. But with the small grocer, garden centre, and a number of speciality stores, parking is tight right at lunch. Cool place to hang out though.

High Tea at Adriennes is a dismal experience. Firstly, one is seated right alongside other regular diners so no garden experience as advertised. Plus, the seating is very tight. Nothing about it feels like an 'occasion" which should be the experience. The waitress did not explain the different choices of high tea, type of tea served (teabags...shame), did not bring adequate plates and as a topper just slapped the tea pots on the table and departed. Thoroughly underwhelming! We had tea and canapes at Murchies and it was relaxing and very enjoyable even though it was just regular service. Spend a bit extra the treat yourself to a real high tea --The Empress, Butchart Gardens and various other places. We went to the Empress and that is the real deal!! loved it.

It was extremely loud so talking over lunch was not possible. My latte was great ? The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon however were terrible. Food was cold for one thing but the salmon was very salty, poor quality and I ended up giving it to my dog. Allover I was not impressed at all.

Beef dip tasted okay — was a very small portion of beef.

Do you want a budget friendly alternative to the Empress? We did the high tea for two and it was delicious! The more expensive tea for two was enough for 3.

We had a party of 17 and the service was excellent. Very kid friendly. Plenty of parking.

Decor is dressed down coffee house, not fancy. Feel free to wear anything from jeans or dress casual.

Was in the neighborhood doing a quote and decided to stop in for breakfast. A cute little spot with many small surrounding businesses.

I had the Salmon ? Benny and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend you come visit them here at Adrienne’s Restaurant & Tea Garden.

Tell them Dino sent you.
Cheers ?

No issues here. Candice knows us too well don't even have to ask for our coffee and tea. We are weekly visitors. Crab Benny kinda heavy for one person but great if adding toast as a side and splitting with my wife. Thanks Candice for top service.

Vegetarian options: Lots of choices.

Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible as well as in and outer seating.

We got lattes and snacks and went through to the outdoor patio to eat, unbeknownst to us that this was reserved for lunch. Important to note that there were several empty tables and we weren’t taking a table from someone wanting lunch. We were yelled at by one waitress and when we got up to go to where we were allowed (despite them not needing the table), we were again rudely scolded by the manager. It just wasn’t necessary to speak to us that way. The coffee was okay, the treats were meh but expensive. Overall, it really really soured me on how unnecessarily rude they were. I’d give this place a wide berth. The pricey food isn’t worth the nasty customer service. There are lots of other places to spend your money.

Response from owner misses the point about it was how the policy was enforced. I stand by my review and suggest choosing an alternative place to eat.
