No trip to #victoriabc is complete without a visit to @ayoeat.victoria @marketsquarevic
My friend, @banadalimunthe owns and operates this little restaurant, and even though it looks like a hole in a wall, the food packs a punch. He serves a limited variety of Indonesian food which reminds me of home, and had been recognised for the best cheap eats in Victoria. Next time you're in Victoria, make sure you visit him, and get some #takeout

Ayo Eat is a hidden gem located on the 2nd floor, left corner. The friendly Chef/Owner Bana serves up must-try dishes like Chicken Satay and Beef Curry. The food is incredibly delicious, made with simple ingredients, and freshly cooked with care. This hole-in-the-wall spot offers South Asian cuisine, including vegetarian options like the gado gado wrap with a tasty gado gado peanut sauce and nasi campur telor sambal without the prawn crackers.
The restaurant is praised for its authentic Indonesian flavors, with one reviewer noting that the food took them straight back to their time living in Indonesia. Another customer, who grew up in Malaysia, was delighted to find the rice dish that reminded them of home. While the location can be a bit tricky to find, especially for those unfamiliar with the downtown area, the friendly owner and overall ambiance create a welcoming atmosphere.
