BC Legislative Dining Room Reviews
We had planned this late lunch before coming over to Victoria. Everything went so well. Our table was just right, near where we sat our first time. We picked a turkey, cranberry with fries. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was simply impeccable. Very cool vibe being able to eat where lawmakers president. We visit here each time to come to Victoria from the US.
Just wish we were not shoved in a corner when the rest of the restaurant was near empty. We were early for our reservation and were accommodated. For busy times recommend a reservation.

The BC Legislative Dining Room offers a unique dining experience with a sense of history and reasonable prices. The menu features a good selection that can accommodate most diets and preferences, with fresh, well-made, and high-quality food. The service is generally outstanding, although some reviews mention that staff can be a bit odd or not very welcoming. The restaurant requires reservations in advance and is wheelchair-accessible. Diners must show ID and pass through a quick security procedure before entry, which adds a slightly awkward step but ensures safety. The decor includes photos and historical items, providing a charming, classic vibe and a fun experience for those interested in government history. The stately decor, ambiance, and the professionalism and warmth of the staff make it a memorable meal. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with available crayons, paper, and menu options like chicken tenders.
