Small portions
Terribly overcooked and flavourless tough steak
Plain undressed rice with zero flavour and nothing around it to add flavour.
If I could give this meal less than one star I would. I haven’t eaten anything this bad in years.

We ordered to pick up, staying only 4 minutes away so I can’t really rate the service or atmosphere, but the food….
I ordered a steak bowl. I remembered having the halibut fish a chips a number of years ago, and I don’t remember anything bad about it, but this steak bowl has triggered me to write a review.
Bad on so many levels I’m not even sure where to start, so I’ll start with the steak, the star (or should be the star of the show).

Just because you’re putting it in a bowl doesn’t mean you have to cook it until it’s crispy. If it had less moisture left in it you might think it was freeze dried. Obviously when you cook a steak that hard it’s not only tough and chewy but also flavourless. The portion was also ridiculously small but in this case it was a bonus as I didn’t have to chew until my jaw fell off.

Now the rice, just plain old rice, no sauces or flavouring, just sticky rice. That might be ok if there was something flavourful to eat it with, but the 3 slices of cucumber garnish and the bit of corn succotash (at least that’s the best way to describe it) and a few other garnish pieces, well let’s just say I want to go out for something to eat after wasting $30 on this meal.

The food, and general service is adequate, however, the management is very unprofessional and unreasonable. Would not recommend having high expectations and considering the prices, perhaps look elsewhere.

Great food and the best driving range in town!

I like this place, comfortable room, great food and good service. Had our Xmas dinner there and they were great!

We did a private event for 38 people at this restaurant and it was exceptional! I would highly recommend this venue for a small wedding, corporate event or private celebration. Ellie (event planner) and Grant were fantastic and helping to make sure that every little detail was taken care of from the canapies, to the drink selection and food. Everything was exactly as we had dreamed it would be. The food was excellent, the servers were exceptional and Ellie made planning so easy. The flowers at the venue were beautiful and we appreciate Grant making the effort to assist us with planning our entertainment and having the Bluetooth speaker available. Everyone enjoyed the evening immensely.

Thank you so much for making our 30th anniversary so memorable! I have tons of beautiful, colourful photos… But can not share because there are people in the photos. We had the patio in the evening with the fire going and they had the buffet set up inside …everything was amazing. They even had a large bouquet of fresh flowers in the bathroom.

Staff was overwhelmed. Very busy. Food took a long time to arrive. Service was poor. Manager was visibly visiting guest golfers and wasn’t overseeing the staff service. Would never come back again on a Saturday. Poor management. Had visited numerous times and never had a problem with the food or service but today was pathetic. More staff would help with getting the food and drinks.Improvement is needed

You want to love it. This place has so much potential to pick up where BH left off but it seems firmly stuck in the last century. Service is friendly, kind, professional but have also had servers take a while to get to us, not take 2nd drink order, forget to set our table after receiving food etc. Lovely patio that is wonderful to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The food is good, have had very tasty items but also items I wouldn't order again. I'm not trying to be a jerk - just sharing our experiences. It's a prime location that locals would flock to if there was an overhaul.

Ate at the golf club restaurant. Even if when was very busy. Staff were great. Good coffee with their clubhouse sandwich. Top marks. Will go back soon.Had my elderly mother for lunch. Staff was very helpful friendly to her. Made her day.Thanks to All the staff.

We had a pint each and an appetizer of Humboldt squid. The service was great, the food was so disappointing. $18 for 8 pieces of squid with so so taste, amount and presentation. At 4pm they should be having happy hour prices on food or drink. Pick one and half the neighborhood will be there with no other option available (beachouse has now closed). But we didn't love it and probably will happy hour at home.

Seating was adjacent to a window that looked out on tothe golf course. Food was excellent and noise levels were suitable for conversation and relaxation.
