Won't be coming back possibly the worst fish I've ever had

We ordered halibut n chips
Had I ever bite and spit it out n smelled it and it smelt bad . Tried another and spit it out too. Just plain no good fish . Had a strong fishy smell , like not good fish in the place .
I told my partner not to eat it .
Complained and lady said it can't be bad I just thawed it out. I said it's bad , I eat alot of fish and this is bad , if they are cooks and don't know it's bad fish , shouldn't be serving it . Not going back there again. Used to be a great place to come.gor fish n chips

Food for two: $60 including tips, drinks. 2 cod, large fries, 2 drinks and a small side.

Pos: large pieces of fish. Batter and fries not overly oily. Crispy. Fish was so juicy, tender and flaky. Way better than most victoria restuarants like the Keg or Boom and Batton. You can tell they put alot of heart and soul into the fish.

Lots of condiments available. Very nice couple and great service. Interior is clean. Lots of free parking outside. Great for families but not alot of seating.

Food for thought: Location has been ran by the same person for 40ish years. Lots of loyal customers. Kept prices reasonable but worth it for the amount of food you get. You can actually ask for less batter or double batter for your fish.

Good fish chips hot . Liked it a lot, well edit this review, agan I got exactly what I ordered and a side of comedy , no charge . Thanks mate , again the fish was hot as we're the chips and it was proper fish and chips shoppe fair 👍.

I'm from away and love trying out local places.. We had the cod. Generously sized portions, very tasty, batter light and crispy. Very much like old-fashioned fish and chips, obviously battered in house. Really really good. Chips are great. Have been up and down Vancouver Island and this is probably the best we've had anywhere. Would recommend.

Quality gone down since my last visit 2yrs ago. Fish batter does not have same taste once it used to. Ordered full fries and looked like small order. Ordered to go 3cod and full fries, asked for ketchup and vinger on side. Gave like 2 ketchup which was not enough for order and had no napkins. Lots changed in last 2yrs. Done here

Friendly and Efficient staff and the food was FANTASTIC. We got the halibut platter and it was delicious and crispy. Highly recommend 👌

We have been going to Brady's for years and we absolutely love the fish and chips. What an incredible family that owns it. Friendly , funny and always puts the customer first. Especially if you are respectful. It has that old school feeling that brings you back. Put your phone down and enjoy one of your favorite comfort foods. My wife taught their grandson so we definitely know how awesome they are. Great work you guys. 🏆 See you soon.

Absolutely DELICIOUS grilled halibut burger. Halibut cooked perfectly, soft fresh bun, and the perfect condiments. Reasonable price considering what halibut costs at the store. I’ll be back! Thank you!

My all time favourite fish and chip place ever. The fish and chips are to die for crispy and golden brown and flaky and flavorful. The fries are fried to perfection accumpied by the best gravy money can buy. We ordered the halibut and 6 generously portions of prawns. I had a day from hell but Brady's made my day. Thanks 👍

Always excellent fish and chips and the portion size. Unlike some other franchises in Victoria, you don't feel like you're getting ripped off. The only place I would go for fish and chips
