I rarely leave any reviews but this place is way over rated. $7 small latte, , WiFi limited to 60 minutes (hurry up and get out vibe), The WiFi is a joke - slowest internet I have seen since dial up. Had to use my hotspot data to access web. Spent a whole minute waiting for upload test to show but -only got loading error( see photo). I spend my life on Wifi and this was the worst. I came here because I didn’t want support Starbucks - next time I will just go there.

Crispy tofu sandwich is fire. Also the staff is lovely and the batch brew always on point.

The banana chocolate chip muffin was delicious! 😍 my americano was one of the worst beverages I ever had. How can the same place sell these two? 😅 the atmosphere is great!

Really nice community oriented spot with a cute little side patio. Love the events they host. When I drank coffee, I liked their roasts but now that I can no longer have coffee for health reasons, I find myself wishing they had matcha on the menu and a couple more vegan baked goods.

Disappointed by the lack of basics at this popular coffee spot.

I ordered a large black coffee for nearly $4 and was surprised to find they didn’t offer cup sleeves—only a thick napkin as a substitute, which didn’t help much with the heat. When I asked for a second cup to double it up, they attempted to charge me for it.

I ended up asking for a refund, which the barista processed without hesitation and apologized for the inconvenience.

For a well-known local café, I expected better preparation when it comes to basic items like sleeves. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you should be equipped to deliver a proper experience—or at the very least, not penalize customers for trying to find a workaround

Used to be my favorite place to visit.
My partner and I went for a coffee earlier this week. My partner who has an invisible disability and comes across as an average man had an open soda to treat his low blood sugar (cuz diabetes and he needs sugar so he doesn't die) as we were standing in the line, ordering food paying, waiting to pick up coffee and pastry, and settling down. No issues. About 10 min after we settled in, the person who served as at the counter came and asked us to leave because one should not be having open drinks from outside. Well, how about it's being a medicine? No, you need to leave. End of conversation.
Quite unfortunate. And quite rude.
Maybe it's time to put a sticker on the door that says no outside food or drinks? Or maybe tell us before we order and tip? You could also sell soda so we don't have to go to the store and then come back and get kicked out.
Will probably not going back anytime soon.
Makes me wonder how people with visible disability get treated.

Good, not great. The espresso and macchiato are delicious. The summertime flash-iced coffee also delicious. The americanos, lattes, etc are very basic. Whole beans are unimpressive. In my cynical estimation: the lack of local coffee competition, the low cafe standards of Victoria residents and the admittedly good vibes combine to make this place a local institution.

First thing's first. Coffee... weird tasting. Unbearable, honestly. I don't understand how people can drink that overpriced garbage coffee. Right into the trash it went.
Second... breakfast sandwich was pretty delicious, yet simple af. I mean... extra for a slice of bacon when it's already unreasonably priced???? Gross guys. Gross.
And finally Third... your workers are clowns who don't know how to smile.

I live so damn close, I could do a cartwheel summersault and land at your front door and I've got plenty of money to spend...

But nawwwww... no thank you Fantastico... more like... UnFantastico.

Edit... bringing it down to one star 🌟... nope... nope... noooooo

My overpriced chai latte tasted like slightly spicy milk. Somehow worse than Starbucks. Cinnamon bun was okay but slightly stale and not warmed. Most of the customers were cops

If you're looking for a relaxed, welcoming environment, this may not be the place.

As a local and regular customer, I was surprised when staff asked my friends and I to leave after an hour, despite vacant tables. Other reviews suggest this is standard practice, which the owners justify as essential to their business model.

To me, alienating regular customers and discouraging repeat visits seems like a poor strategy.

Edit: None of us has computers, also my name is not Lachlan.

Very rude staff. I was there for a school meeting, and we had laptops to use for discussion topics in our meeting. We purchased 1-2 drinks of the most acidic coffee known to man (it'll curdle your milk the moment the milk touches it), and food. Despite being engaged in conversation away from our laptops, a staff member came by and quite rudely asked us to leave due to their "laptop policy". Haven't been back since, and there's many other options available for better customer service.
