The best place for your chocolate letters for your Christmas stockings. Also the selection of Gouda cheeses. Have all your favourite ingredients for traditional Dutch foods. Very friendly staff. A must visit.

The Wooden Shoe has been an important part of our family since my parents relocated to Sidney in 1995. In those 31 years, my father (age 94 now, born in Leerdam), and my mother have enjoyed a full wheel of authentic gouda every month. As my parents aged, the Wooden Shoe graciously shifted to delivering the cheese to them. We have loved extended family visits over the years to the store to buy our favourite Dutch treats from our childhood. Thank you for enriching our lives!!
