Amazed to read the positive reviews for this place - I don't get it. Both times that we've been to this coffee shop the service has been downright rude - owners appear as though they dislike people in general. Today I asked for a bit of chocolate on my soy chai latte (I paid for a medium & received a small) and was told I needed to pay extra. When I laughed and said - "really,?" the owner stormed away muttering that unless I paid extra, there wasn't a dribble of chocolate to be had. As frequent coffee house goers, my husband and I were not impressed. There was a 'chill' in the air in the place. Back to Moka House it is where we are treated with great respect, kindness and made to feel welcome every time we go!!!!!

Some of the best coffee in town, huge coffee menu to suit anyone's taste including lots of lattes beyond the usual vanilla, etc. Always a hard time deciding what to have because it all sounds yummy. It's a must stop anytime I'm in Victoria

Ducked in here to get out of the pouring rain. So glad we did! Delicous hot chocolate (with beautiful art) as well as an excellent pesto chicken sandwich. I'd gladly come back here!

Thank you for still being here after 15 years... I used to come here often when I was still in school. Picked a table by the window, and listened to the music from my MP3 for the whole afternoon. After 15 years, the same owner in his berets is making the coffee at the same spot by the window.
A good latte is my major vice, and these guys deliver.

The owners are so friendly and the coffee is excellent. Food is premade and good, but I wish you could ask to have some things left off due to allergies and preference.
