2nd time at Emmalines and it did not disappoint. Arguably one of the best meals I’ve had in Victoria. Beats out Victoria’s top restaurants (…I’ll Terrazo, Marilena, Wind Cries Mary… etc). Everything tastes fresh, home cooked, and cooked with love. Shared the steak platter, side salad, and the delicious sticky toffee pudding while listening to live jazz music tonight. Can’t wait till the next time.

Every time we come here for brunch, it feels so cozy and homey. We can't go back to those overly crowded, noisy brunch places any more! Everything - from the plates and coffee cups to the little tea spoons - is cute and thoughtfully chosen. The food is fresh and perfectly portioned so you don't feel greasy or heavy afterword. The patio is great in the summer ( Dog Friendly too!).
The service is exceptional as well. They remember us after a couple of visits. They served the kids' food first when it was busy in the kitchen. That kind of small but thoughtful gesture means a lot to us as parents of young children. And finally, their dessert is fantastic! You've gotta try this place!

But Emmaline’s is also a really nice space for a date, or catch up with an old friend!

Where is that coveted sixth star when you need it? Emmaline’s is doing something better than almost all the rest. Never had a better funghi pizza anywhere, not even in Italy. The atmosphere is perfectly relaxed and the service excellent. At a time when eating out has become quite expensive, Emmaline’s feels like good value.

tonight 6 of us shared 4 pizzas the mushroom, the ragout special, pepperoni/honey and spicey sausage perfect. crisp base, imaginative flavours. fresh ingredients.
with two arugula and walnut salads 3 beers
and one cornmeal skillet pie with ice cream we paid $170 in total.
Well worth it and we will be back often. We have to keep this gem of a place well supported and thriving
Food was absolutely excellent, so delicious. Unfortunately it took an hour to get our food. Staff were very kind and friendly; however, they were short staffed and it took ages to get our food (they warned us it would be long but it was longer than they said). Lucky we were not in a rush. I would still recommend this place though as the food was so good.
