This sake has aromas of pineapple, tropical fruits and flowers. Light but flavourful with a refreshingly elegant and rich taste.
Seaside, 300mL sparkling sake
Brut-like sparkling sake with lemon and lime-like bright acidity. Pairs beautifully with oysters. It is fermented naturally. The cloudiness is from the yeast and sugar used.
Senkin Modern Omachi, 720mL junmai ginjo sake
Powerful and vibrant. Initial fruity notes of whiter peach and Muscat grapes. Gorgeous mouthful of sweet-tart.
Tengumai Umajun, 720mL junmai sake
Earthy and complex, with notes of cucumber and squash. It lifts to pair with a wide range of flavours.
Amabuki Apple, 720mL junmai daiginjo sake
Brewed using apple yeast. Clean, smooth, and round with beautiful apple-like acidity; pasteurized once (namazume) to retain the freshness.

I just had the BEST meal at E:Ne. Like.. possibly the best meal of my life. I tried the Shokado Box consisting of nine small plates curated by the chef and I couldn't pick a favourite! The sashimi melted in my mouth, the fried foods were delicious and crunchy, the dumplings made me swoon - and everything was so beautifully presented. I paired it with the Somelier's Choice, a flight of 4 delicious sakes, and followed that with another elegant glass of sake, as I lazily...

Me and my wifey came here at 10pm as this was the last Japanese restaurant open and honestly we didn’t expect much as we know Vancouver island is very quiet and everything closes early at night but wow, we were extremely surprised by how great the food here tasted.
You can’t go wrong here and we will 100% be back if we are ever back in Victoria.

I like that they open until 11:30 am! Great option when everything else is closed. It’s a dark bar style atmosphere. Not my style. I got the ramen and grilled mackerel. It was good, but wasn’t special. Bill for both came to $42 CAD.
