The Esquimalt Bake Shop is as consistent with their baked goods as they are with their lovely service and warm welcome. Get there early though, their donuts go fast and their apple fritters are a fan favourite!
The donuts are amazingly fluffy and light, but the glaze on the chocolate glazed donut was lacking in flavour, texture and deliciousness. Sidney bakery surpasses these by a mile.
The jelly filled, sugar coated donut was tasty, but for my liking, and I know this is weird, it had too much raspberry filling for me. I would not go out of my way to buy at this bakery again. Service was curt, but efficient. I would definitely drive the distance for a Sidney bakery chocolate...

Got offered these donuts to try, and wow I just have to say I am blown away at how soft and pillowy these donuts are, they are rich and full of flavour but not too overpoweringly sweet, I tried the golden Oreo lemon donut, definitely recommend this place! I found a new place to get quality donuts!
