A lot of restaurants cost similar to this one, but few are as worth the price as this one. Absolutely the best schnitzel I’ve had since being in the Swartzwald. Another bonus is they have a dunkelwiess on tap. Highly recommended. The only negative is the place was quite warm, but maybe a good thing as it prompted me to order a second beer! The only negative was the chairs are mainly high barstool type, quite uncomfortable for old guys like me and a the smaller children we saw in the restaurant Even my much younger wife was uncomfortable with the chair. Outside of that, these people really know what they are doing with their food!

We had a wonderful dinner at Eva last night. We had been there a few years ago on a trip to Victoria and really enjoyed it. If anything, they have improved across the board. We ordered a wide range of items from the menu - all were delicious. The service was great. My only regret is that we were so full that we did not leave room for dessert. We will be back.

amazing food! liverwust has very strong liver taste. schnitzel was very crispy and the breadcrumbs did not separate from meat. the caper and archovies makes the holstein not fishy but added to flavor. red cabbage and saetzle has strong butter/tard flavor. the baking of cabbage really brings out the sweetness.

Picked this place on a whim—turned out to be a total surprise! My braised beef chuck was melt-in-your-mouth good; my friend loved the German meatball. We finished with apple cake and chocolate pot de crème—both amazing. Great food, cozy vibe—would definitely come back!
