Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Food was very good. Wine selection was ok for an Italian restaurant. Cocktails were great! Inside was a little crammed and we felt we were seated right in the middle of everyone walking by. Overall a great spot for dinner and we would return.
Food is really delicious but service could be much improved. Not slow enough that it necessarily takes away from the evening, but we sat with empty wine glasses for far too long, no side plates when our appy came, a messy table full of dishes for too long, empty water glasses, and promised a dessert menu that took 10 minutes so by the time it was delivered we no longer wanted to order dessert. Better service would definitely increase the revenue for this place as we would have...
The hotel is a beautiful spot in a gorgeous part of Oak Bay. The service is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is excellent. Some of the best pizza in the city. My only question is why I don't go more often?!
