I've been coming to Fujiya for 15 years since I was a student.. now Just returned from Tokyo - wow, a whole new appreciation. I'm so grateful for this business and its longevity in the community; it really is a staple of Victoria. Domo arigatogozaimasu Fujiya 🙇♂️

Always loved fujiya, need to go at the right time tho when all the food is fresh and made so you have a good choice, or you might miss out and get what's left at rest of the day

This place is a local institution for people to pick up relatively inexpensive sushi and Japanese goods. Over the years I've had a couple of experiences with the sushi that have been somewhat subpar, but in general if you want some quick cheap sushi to take out, this is the place to go if you are in Saanich. Don't forget to bring your own bag and they carefully count out things like soy sauce and other supplies so you would have to pay for extra if you want more than what they allot you.
