Ridiculously bad ramen and service. Had the Shoyu and the broth tasted like water; completely under-seasoned, zero depth of flavour (like they used instant packets and didn’t actually make a stock.) The pork chashu was devoid of flavour/seasoning and overcooked as well (fell apart with the slightest touch while the fatty parts had gone way past tender until the point where it became chewy again.) Eggs were barely marinated as well.
As far as the service goes, we expressed our issues with the food. Our server goes back to the kitchen and talks with the other server and chef for 10+ minutes and never comes back to our table (mind you there was only one other table that had already been helped.) We thought they would take the ramen off our bill as we had literally only a couple of bites (attached photo is how we left the table - almost entirely full bowls)
Got charged $60 for essentially nothing.
Save your money and time and avoid this place.

The room is really cozy and the staff were welcoming. It can be a busy place, especially at night, they do take reservations though. The ramen is the most authentic I’ve had in Victoria, will definitely be back!
Vegetarian options: Two people in our party are vegetarian and there were multiple options for them to choose from, they were happy to have options! Also some veggie appetizers available.
Dietary restrictions: Had option for GF as well

Had such a great experience here! Great service, great ramen, and great options for dietary restrictions! The Tan Tan with tofu is incredible, and the green bean gomae as an appetizer is our go to!
Dietary restrictions: They had three options available for vegetarians, with two vegan options and also my celiac friend was able to mod and have a gluten free bowl!

Food was delicious and had good sized portions. Chicken Karage was a little tough, but otherwise flavours were amazing, drinks were creative, and staff were friendly!

Popped in here for a quick lunch but was not impressed with their pho fusion ramen. Will give them another try, though. Service was slow but friendly.

I ordered the Gekikara Karaage for delivery and was quite pleased overall. The portion size was generous, and the creamy broth was delightful, though it lacked the level of spiciness I had anticipated. That said, the karaage itself was excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. The noodles, however, didn’t quite meet my expectations. I do appreciate the effort to use locally sourced ingredients, which adds to the quality of the meal. I’m looking forward to visiting in person next time to fully enjoy the experience.

Been here a few times. It's always been good. The new pork belly is not as good as the old one.

The atmosphere and location are nice perks as it's cozy & kind of chic, but the food is mediocre at best and quite expensive for the portions.
My partner and I ordered the Karaage ramen, classic garlic Tonkatsu, and a cider/beer each, and while the broth was tasty & the dish overall well put together, a $5 pork belly add-on to an already relatively expensive dish ($24) yields precisely 1 more piece of thinly sliced pork belly (yes, we asked, just to confirm it wasn't a mistake) Unacceptable for a total bill nearing $80 for a party of 2.
It could have been a less than ideal day to visit as service was also fairly slow, but while the food was OK, it's was an entirely forgettable experience & I unfortunately do not plan to return anytime soon.
The wait staff are very courteous and kind though, and there was seating available on request during dinner "rush" times which is a perk.

The service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately the food left us disappointed. My son said his chashu was tough but it turned out they had forgotten to take off the binding so he was chewing on string.
We expected the shio tonkatsu broth to be salty but it was over the top. I normally order the saltiest variation at Ramen Danbo but this was way beyond that. I always finish my broth with kaedama but I didn’t this time because it was just too much. The salad my mother had was delicious though.
Overall the dining experience was such that we wouldn’t go back.
