Usually I go to this place and it is delicious, they make my favourite drink so well, the iced dirty chai. The other day I really wanted my favourite drink to cheer me up after cleaning up cat diarrhea all night, so I went in and there was a gentleman working there who I’d never seen working, he was elderly and moved VERY slowly. But it wasn’t the speed I cared about, if he could make me that drink in half an hour I would wait happily, but the iced decaf chai he made me was nothing like what I usually get at this place, I didn’t taste chai, I tasted watery espresso, there was no milk I don’t think. I was so disappointed because I spent 10$ on it, I didn’t say anything to him because this old guy is obv trying his best. But I just left my drink on the table, I couldn’t drink it. Also I ordered two of them, and one was much darker in colour so I said why is this one much darker in colour and he just went “hm” and shrugged his shoulders.
Just had coffee. Noticed that the cinnamon buns were being taken out of a store clamshell but the counter person was also using a mixer to make some dough/pastry. Comfortable seating but it was a very hot day and the A/C was not doing much. Coffee was good.

My wife and I have frequented this establishment on many occasions. When getting coffee and other hot beverage’s it does very well however, the food options are underwhelming . The fact they wanted to up charge an extra dollar just to grill A sandwich is ridiculous. $15 for like a two star sandwich..maybe the grilling ads another star?
The staff and owner are nice folks but it’s hard to stomach almost 30 dollars for two just ok sandwiches ..

the music stage is a joke people playing anywhere like they own the place. no respect for other.musicians as does GINO simply wanting a sale
I only had a coffee, atmosphere and customer service waa on par. Coffee, not so much (similar to kirkland regular brew)

Wonderful staff, nice atmosphere. The sandwiches are a bit small though perhaps that can be attributed to the lower prices.

Friendly service, terrible coffee. If you want your americano to look like a weak cup of tea than this is your place.

Awesome breakfast sandwich! Made to order, hardy artisan bun, homemade style. Terrible coffee - weak, burnt, worst latte I've had in Victoria. Tim's makes better lattes 4.5/5 food, 2/5 coffee. Friendly staff.
