I have ordered food from Good Ovening many times before but when I ordered the Tofu Salad and Creamy Oven Pasta yesterday, it was AWFUL!!! The salad dressing with the Tofu Salad was not the same as before - it was sour and watery, and not the sesame dressing that I ordered. Also, the Creamy Oven Pasta was absolutely tasteless and so bland! I have never tasted anything so bad before. I will definitely NOT eat here again!

Honey mustard chicken is sooooooo good!!! Their cocktail drinks are so good, their pork kimchi is really really good ? 10/10 our favourite? everytime we go and try something new it’s never a disappointment. Worth a try ❤️

Chanced upon this lovely late night gem on a cold cold night. Oden tang was great - wonderful broth and thick with fish cake and vegetables. Pork and kimchee stew could have used a bit more pork, but it was also good. Kimchee udon was a bit disappointing but still OK. The volcano chicken was a hit - more spicy than sweet, but really well balanced.Extra props for our service that night, our waitress was gracious and attentive.Will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu.

The soy garlic chicken is so delicious!!! I also really enjoyed the pineapple soju highball, and I even got a free glass of makgeolli (which I like a lot)! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and I was served quickly. The atmosphere inside is also very enjoyable! I’ve also tried the original and honey mustard chicken via ordering online, and I enjoyed both of those as well. I highly recommend coming here!!

Not a busy place and very good portions for the price!! The service was very good also‼️ my boyfriend hates cheese but he ate the spicy rosee ricecakes and that's something he's never done before.

Went here during Dine Around Victoria and had an incredible time! Service was amazing, staff are very friendly, and food was delicious! Highly recommend for a cute date night!
Service disorganized. My entree arrived after 25 min. As they were busy. Delicious. My 2 companions Entrees arrived 30 min later. Their servings of chicken significantly smaller than mine. They had to pack it up by that time to leave. $10 discount and 4 shots of makeolli wasn't enough to time. cover the wait time.

There are lots of Korean fried chicken in town, but this juicy roasted chicken will introduce you to the different styles of Korean chicken!The tofu salad was great. The portion was quite big, and I was quite full after having it! Volcano chicken had a good smoky flavour, and it was not too spicy. Kimchi stew was good, but it was quite salty. It feel like Kimchi stew was spicier and slatier than Volcano chicken. The churro was way too crispy, so I think I will stick with chicken only from now on.The only thing I did not like was the service. There was one server for the whole dining area. To get a glass of water, it took forever. When we had to get the bill, it took a while too.
