L'Apero is one of the small gems of the Victoria food scene. Their unique menu offering Raclette and Fondue is not to be missed. I have been here both for Raclette and Fondue and have never been disappointed. The food was flavourful and delicious with interesting combinations. A great dinner with friends (group if 6). Excellent food, especially if you like cheese-inspired dishes. Solid wine list. Very warm, attentive, and personal service. Staff is willing to take the time to discuss menu and wine options so that you get the right combination for you. Minimalist atmosphere is a little stark for my taste, but this is a minor issue to the overall experience. Wonderful evening!

I’ve been to L’apéro a few times now, and I’m always so pleased with it. A great selection of cheese and wine, you cannot go wrong (highly recommend a glass of the Chablis!). They offer some really fun courses and multi course dinners on occasion. Check it out either by dropping by on a weekday evening for a drink or stop in to purchase some cheese to take home.
