Terrible overpriced food. I ordered a club sandwich. Cold toast, skimpy yellow lettuce, unripe tomatoes, dubious turkey, hard chunky bacon and greasy fries that looked as though they were leftovers.

The pancakes didn't have a good texture and you had to look for the blueberries. The coffee was brown. The chicken & pancake dish was overcooked.

Arrange of choices all of which sounded excellent. Ordered the basic farm-time one with eggs,bacon,sausage,tomato,potato’s, and toast. It was excellent. My partner had the scrambled eggs with a scone and it also was exception. Servers are very pleasant and professional. And the room has a type of English feel.

Simply awful service. The older woman( owner) was slow, disorganized and snippy. She acted annoyed when I asked for a straw and never brought it. I asked again and got an unwrapped straw with her hands on it. Order took way to long to come for what we'd ordered. Well undercooked eggs, dry nasty potatoes. There was a younger man waiter who seemed to be trying to make up for the woman"s attitude. We planned to leave a 10 percent tip to show our displeasure. The only option was 15! Don't go!

A wholesome breakfast meal. The cheese omelette and 1991 breakfast was filling and tasted good. The kids meal was also filling and good. The coffee was strong and refreshing. The restaurant quite busy and the service was quick and efficient.

We stopped for lunch. Service was fine, we were the only customers initially. We requested the patio. It was only partially set up. The area was not swept nor the table wiped; it was only leaf litter but felt a quick wipe would have been appropriate. Most the food was alright but the fries were obviously old. The gate to the sidewalk was locked which gave the impression that it was closed but the entrance inside the hotel was open. We won't return when there are so many wonderful dinning options in Victoria.
