I've been here many times, usually for takeaway. I've yet to try the fried chicken but all the sushi and bento boxes I've had are phenomenal! They certainly know how to cook food, and if you dine in at certain times you may be surprised with an gratis appetizer, which I just found out by actually doing a sit-down meal! Portions are excellent, especially for the price point. These guys have a realistic approach to what a dinner is worth and I'm sure everyone can agree that's a real commodity right now!! Wanna be full for $23 with leftovers? Then it's time to hit up Kitchen Story!

Kitchen Story is located in the mall and yet it left me thoroughly impressed. We opted for the tofu bowls, and let me tell you, the portions were beyond generous. Each bite was flavourful. The miso soup was tasty! The tofu was perfectly cooked and seasoned, paired with an assortment of fresh vegetables and packed with umami. What truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service we received. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate our preferences added an extra layer of satisfaction to our meal. Overall, I cannot recommend this Japanese food spot enough. Five stars all around for the excellent food, taste, service, and ambiance! I shall return

Dbl deep fried korean style chicken was the memory maker. Unexpectedly, the miso soup and wonton soup were both on the spicy side which is not our personal preference.Excellent service I would say and the casual vibe atmosphere makes it welcoming.Reasonable price. ?

They have the best fried chicken and amazing chicken teriyaki.Excellent quality good and service.
Kitchen story staff and good are top notch. They have tons of veg options and accommodate adjustments for littles (like making a sushi roll simpler and smaller). Their lunch special is A++ - big and fresh. Everyone was super satisfied with the food - and the service was also top notch. Can’t wait to make this a regular spot.

Ordered this through door dash, our gyoza appetizer container had a staple under one of the peices. And it happened to be the last peice we picked up. Couldn' eat another bite from anything else we ordered after that. Never again! Don't recommend this place.
