Now open Sunday's from 9am-12 for breakfast. Amazing value, friendly Kiwanis and volunteer run, in this quaint seaside cafe.

Small beach café. Great place to enjoy a coffee. Luck of you see whale in water with telescope provided in the café.

One of the best places in Victoria to visit. You can feel the history of band minions of happy family's and kids who pass through or grew up around it.

I fly in from Calgary once-twice a year, and this beach stop spot is one of my favorite reasons. Beach snacks are life and supporting students working for cash is always a priority 👌

High quality, home-cooked hot food, sandwiches, and snacks, at affordable prices - not like these out of control cafés charging 18 bucks for a slice of Walmart ham on the cheapest bread they can find. The food is nourishing, filling, and tasty, while the little grandmas volunteering are always so polite and cheerful. What a nice treat to stop by at the beach. I hope they never change.

It looks awesome. IT IS CLOSED IN THE WINTER. Supposedly open on Sunday morning for $15 breakfast. I was so excited to have tea here. No idea when it opens for regular business.
I would not recommend this “tea room” A lady, who I did not catch the name of, beat me relentlessly with a teapot, while she shoved an ice-cream sandwich down my throat while screaming about the word of god, I hope these sick people find help soon. I’m now recovering from a 7 month long coma, after waking up to find out that my 3 children had to move in with ms crippled mother, I’m distraught, I never in my life would thing that simply trying to get my tea served hot after it being delivered to me ice cold would send my life into such anarchy.
A delightful place to have a wee lunch - great tastes - fantastic staff - lots of giggles - all for good cause the Kiwanis ?

Just a nice place to get some good comfort food. The volunteers are great and so helpful as are the paid student summer help. The money earned goes to a lot of very deserving non profits.

It's a super convenient amenity right on the beach, and run by older volunteers and teens. It's totally worth it just for the great prices and supporting the local community. Nothing better than a freezie and some onion rings right on the beach!

As far as a beach concession stand goes this is a great place to grab an affordable snack and a drink while you enjoy the beach and park. They carry a range of fast food type options as well as tea, coffee, and cakes. All proceeds go to the Kiwanis club of Oak Bay and support local causes and community initiatives so you can feel good about spending your hard earned money here too.
