Food is okay + the lady is so warm and welcoming (great customer service)
Who cares about 'service' or 'atmosphere' when the food is this good. I ate so much I thought I was gonna die, and I'll do it again.
We arrived for an early dinner, thankfully it was not busy and we managed to get a booth.
Amazing try it
Authentic and family owned Japanese restaurant. Best ramen place near Uvic and Cedar hill area. I love their chicken donburi. They use chicken thighs, so flavourful and juicy.
Been coming here for 8 years and it never disappoints. This has been my favourite ramen spot for comfort food. Same order everytime, shio ramen with corn and deep fried pork. Get the fried rice, something about it makes it so delicious.
Kuma has a small menu and good food. Their Ramen bowls are great. Small but mighty local restaurant.
Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered 4 bowls of ramen and all bowls tasted the exact same.... bland broth and overcooked noodles. The staff was also super rude to my two kids. I will not be coming back and I suggest you bring your business elsewhere.
Not a great place to dine at - don't recommend coming. There was a hair in my food and the owner or manager (unsure) was rude.
Went with my friends while we were on a trip to victoria. Tables weren't cleaned properly.

Horrendous owner
Kuma will always hold a special place in my heart. I find the ramen to not taste like traditional ramen at all, but despite the difference, I think it’s still very good. Good value for a bowl, you get the egg and chashu for every ramen order. And they’re very consistent with their flavors.
Great food for a great value. Flavours were all there! Cold water and what looked to be the owners cooking and serving wonderful meals. We went for lunch and were quite full after a ramen and a rice bowl.
Our experience at Kuma was disappointing. The service was slow and inattentive—we had to ask twice for hot water, and when my wife requested it, the server rolled their eyes at her.
The food was underwhelming as well. The ramen was just average, and the meat in it was actually cold.
Overall, with poor service and mediocre food, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I came here more than three times and loved their Udon rice, it was very tastyyyy. Friendly service. Worth a repeat visit!!
