We paid 65$ for nothing actually, the food was terrible so dry we were chewing melted paper in the food! We ate only sticky rice and prok bun and literally threw rest of that away. They forgot to give us Pork bun at all! We called and asked for the Pork bun but we were lucky that we weren't that far! And also that's so unprofessional to text my girl and apologize you can easily call to your customer and say sorry. I don't recommend this restaurant and I won't order anymore.

We dropped in on a cold Friday night after seeing the light display downtown. As soon as we sat down, a teapot of hot tea was at our table. A very warm welcome indeed! The food was delicious! Enjoyed the Shanghai Brisket- very tender! I loved the Spring Roll appetizers. We had mixed vegetables and lemon chicken and, of course, steamed rice and everything was cooked to perfection! The service was excellent! You have to climb some stairs to get into this restaurant, but the climb is worth it! Only disappointment: no fortune cookies after our meal. ?We had twice as much as 2 people could eat, so we brought some home to enjoy again.

Food was real bad, bbq pork buns were frozen, S&S pork had no flavour at all and textured like raw chicken, sticky rice was like pudding, Shanghai dumplings were mediocre, lacked flavour aswell. Service was great, they were super nice, they could use a carpet cleaning though :/ will not

Food was good. The appetizers like pot stickers and pork xiolongbao (Shanghai pork buns on menu.) Were EXCELLENT best we've ever made and can definitely tell they are hand made. Some of the best Chinese food we've had! If we lived nearby we would DEFINITELY frequent this place!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, not many but one for each section just about (fried rice, chop suey, chow mein)Dietary restrictions: Chop Suey and fried rice contains egg and does not list this on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible at all. Need to climb several stairs

The person who served our food was extremely polite and helpful. The food arrived right away. The quality of the food itself, however, was inconsistent. The chop suey tasted good, but their sweet and sour pork was bland. The dumplings were over steamed and fell apart when we picked it up. The carpet on the stairs toward the restaurant and the dining utensils also need cleaning.

This is the worst restaurant I have been before. Not only because of the food. But also they play cheat with the customer. They have the food manual in front of the door located in first floor which shows the food price is $8.99. But they charged me more than $15 for my order when I finished the food on second floor. I think that’s the reason why this store has such low review score. Keep far away from this store and I will never comeback again.

Terrible food. Wonton soup broth tastes like it's week old. Ginger beef tasted like cleaning fluid. You can get better spring rolls from the walmart freezer. BBQ fried rice was better in that it was only below-average.

I ordered the Singapore Vermicelli, Cream Buns and a small Wonton Soup. It tasted better than if one were to get it at a Vancouver restaurant. The server was nice. Best part was the restaurant environment. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing establishment, the man working and taking my order was the nicest and looked genuinely happy, while I was waiting for my takeout, he offered me water and a small snack. I got the stick rice, and his two favorite dim sum. The sticky rice was amazing with a generous amount of chicken and pork inside, with really nice seasoning on them. The dim sum were a touch overdone but still really good. Everything was well seasoned and very good value for dollar. Will bring everyone that visits Victoria to this place!

We enjoyed some dim sum in this peaceful and clean restaurant. The owner who might also be the chef is super friendly. I can feel his passion for running this restaurant.

The owner (I think, or he might be the chef) is super friendly. My boyfriend and I got lunch on a weekday this past summer. We both got a one person combo and the food was very good. I saw the owner when I was shopping in China town and he recognized me and said hi. I was surprised he remembered me. They have recognized me every time since when I come in. Definitely worth trying this place if you’re in the area

Incredible authentic Chinese food. On the second floor, serving in both traditional Chinese and English. A wide selection of seafood options and vegetarian choices. The live seafood was definitely a draw.
