Best Kung Pao in town
I dined in with a friend. I ordered the pork fried rice and mapu tofu, absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly, the food came out fast, the waiter refilled our waters and tea pot regularly. The waiter was amazing, he asked for the preferred spice level of the mapu tofu and when I blanked, he recommended medium spice and it was perfect! My only issue was the bathroom that probably could use a little renovating, but overall very positive experience.
Great place for some asian feeling look while dining at the diner. Dim sum not bad!
Kwong Tung Seafood Restaurant welcomes guests with a teapot of hot tea upon arrival. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including Shanghai Brisket, Spring Roll appetizers, mixed vegetables, lemon chicken, and steamed rice, all cooked to a good standard. Customers recommend the egg plant hot pot for sharing and enjoy the hot&sour soup, honey garlic pork chop, and shrimp rice noodle roll. The handmade pot stickers and pork xiolongbao are considered exceptional. The staff are friendly and attentive, refilling waters and tea regularly, and asking about spice preferences to enhance the dining experience. The restaurant's entrance features a staircase, making it not wheelchair accessible, and the bathroom could benefit from renovation. Vegetarian options are limited, and some dishes may contain eggs not listed on the menu. Overall, visitors have had positive experiences, praising the food's abundance and taste despite occasional slow service during busy times.
