This is a poutinery. It was the best poutine I've ever had. I had a poutine called Glavaude. Poutine with chicken and peas. I know that doesn't sound good, but it was yummy!! I also had a steamie, which in Quebec is a staple. A steamed hot dog with mustard, onion, relish, coleslaw. Fantastic!!!
The gravy was soooo good, not too salty and I think they used Yukon gold potatoes. The fries didn't have a greasy taste and were fresh, not frozen.
I would like to add to this today(8/26/25). My friends and I went there today and I had an unfortunate mishap. As I was bringing the poutine to my table(very very hot), the whole container literally collapsed on to the floor. It was everywhere. One of the young men helped me clean it up. He asked the two guys cooking to remake me another one. They didn't have to do that at all but it was truly appreciated.
Thank you.

The food was amazing! Just like out east. Sadly no spruce beer when we went. Facilities are not that clean though.

It's always good to stumble on the small local humble and unassuming places that serve up just plain delicious food. I wanted to try the national dish Poutine, and here they have a range of options from plain chips cheese and gravy to the Supreme with chicken, mushrooms bacon and onions. My husband had beef and jalapeños. Generous and delicious!

Tasty food and great people. I love their breakfast poutine or the Montreal smoked meat poutine.

Service was insane, 1 person before me and a 20 minute wait about for 1 poutine, heck, the lady before me that ordered 2 large poutines got served before me, not to mention the wrong order that left another patron fully frustrated. Go when the owner is there as the employees are more interested in swearing and talking hockey. 6 orders waiting and no fries had been dropped.......I come from Quebec and the REAL Belle patate slangs pout in 5 minutes flat.
The owner is good though, great food and service when he's there.

Great guys and great food! Extremely reasonable prices. Came over because we saw them on Reelin in the Beers (YouTube). We had the poutine, hotdog steamies and both versions of the hamburgers. Will definitely come back. Thanks guys

Food here is great. I personally like it better than poutine I had in Quebec City.

Great thematic spot for very good French-Canadian cuisine.
Though recipes vary back home, what's on offer here is undeniably from the Belle Province. Steamies are on point, poutines are nicely balanced (and the options are numerous) and the house-made spruce beer seems legit (they had sold out when I last visited).
A great taste of home in the other side of the country or a culinary adventure to the land of maple syrup while staying on the West coast.
J'approuve!

Best poutine in town. Worth the trip
This place is the best! The poutine is amazing, the atmosphere is down to earth, you get good sized portions and the prices are very reasonable.
I used to come here regularly with family and friends from out of town for their excellent smoked meat sandwich. Of course they no longer have it on the menu or offer it ???? So, this will no longer be a destination for me as you can buy hamburgers and hot dogs most anywhere. Very disappointed that with something unique they no longer offer it. I think they are just too lazy to slice brisket and place it on bread. Easier to just dish up hamburgers and hotdogs like dozens of other places that offer the same fare. This place was always expensive, is not that clean by restaurant standards and the staff were never that friendly. Time to move on as a customer. I hope they remember me when the brown paper goes up on the windows.
