Overall really good food
However their sweet and sour pork dish has failed me multiple times (lots of chewy gristle-y pieces)
Won’t be ordering that again
+ Servers are quite nice, but...
- Servers don't answer questions that well, when regarding their menu: when asked "what are your thickest noodles?" (in Chinese) the response was vague confusion, as if the question didn't make sense.
+ 1st dish: Soup & Thick Soup, Hot & Sour Soup. Quite nice, with what I can assume as the correct order of spice.
+ 2nd dish: Appetizers, Honey Barbecued Pork. With many pieces, and a good sauce, this is just a tastier grilled thick bacon.
• 3rd + 4th: Hong Kong Style Chow Mein, Barbecued Pork & Vegetable Chow Mein. + Vegetable, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce.
+ 3: The pork is SO SOFT, and the serving size is big enough for a single meal by itself. Taste works as expected as well.
+ 4: By a personal professional, the eggplant is great, and overall is better than many of the other restaurants'. For my opinion, though the eggplants' nastier taste does come out every-so-often, after dipping it in the sauce, it taste quite like fish (as advertised)!
+ 5th: Seafood, Szechuan Seafood Delight. And delight is the right word, as its softness and taste is quite delightful indeed. The spice chosen seems to match as well.
• 6th: Hong Kong Style Chow Mein, Shanghai Special Noodle. This was ordered spicy-less and to-go, thus is not included in the rating.
+ Food quantity is satisfactory for a restaurant of this nature, and to exemplify that point, we only finished one of our dishes. Would come again.
Vegetarian options: No idea.
Dietary restrictions: No idea.
Kid-friendliness: Good for kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: You can access this restaurant with a wheelchair.

The food here is typical HK style. Lot of lunch specials. We ordered from the main menu. The food was good for this type of restaurant.

This restaurant used to be a favourite but the smaller more expensive and unreliable dishes we used to love are not the same. Received a very small bag with several orders $150 worth of food. All very small containers including ( fried rice and chow me in noodles ) which are usually larger. The chop suey sauce was over thickened and gloopy. The Ginger beef was drenched in a different strange sweet sauce. Definitely not worth the money anymore as there won’t even be anything left over. I called to see if they would fix it being a long standing customer but they didn’t and stated it’s the way it always is but it’s definitely not. So disappointed. Will say the salt and pepper fish was great but that was it.

food is just ok, not the best among chinese restaurants, but acceptable, and price is very reasonable.

Not a fan of the Hot & Sour Soup. Way too much hot chili pepper to the point that my mouth and lips were burning and I could not taste the other flavours of the soup. I have ordered and enjoyed Hot and Sour Soup many times in different restaurants and in Hong Kong but this soup was unpalatable. I had to throw away the rest of the takeout container.
You'll be swimming in grease for days. Sweet and sour pork was so tough as to be inedible. They need a new chef.
Parking: parking is about the only good thing about this place.

Dine in..long ago customer.. Back..ordered BBQ Duck Noodle Soup...as remembered..excellent...
Take home order.....wonderful lucky ending with last mouthful, the remnants of anise seed..the licorice finished the meal with a surprising wow!
I'm pleased to have come back after years to be once again satisfied as expectations were achieved, if not surpassed.
Cheers to the team at Lin Heung.

Used to order take out here all the time, would get great service. Would get a combo for one and they have done substitutions. They no longer do this and could care a less about me eating here. Will not be back!

This restaurant has been at this location for over 30 years. There are lots of changes of hands. 20 years ago this place used to be my go to place for Hong Kong style noodle soups till the new owner took over. The new owner at the time absolutely missed all so I haven't been back ever since till recently I had leftover noodle soup from the place and wow, the broth is unbelievably good!!! Pull me back to the old Lin Heung once more. So I visited the place for lunch today and ordered the beef stew noodle soup, just as good as I remember. The broth is very flavoured and rich. The beef is cooked just right. We also ordered the chicken stir fry noodle (crispy noodle). The flavor of the chicken topping brings us back to 30 years ago. We'll definitely come back for great Hong Kong style soup noodles and great customer services!

Haven't been here in a long while. Food seemed better prepared and restaurant appeared a little less tired. More expansive menu. Ma po tofu was good but stale tasting oil ruined the salt and pepper squid. Generous portions but could have been better. May give it another try

The barbecued pork is green, and I feel sick immediately after eating it. My stomach hurts.
