Went to this location today ordered food. Waited 22 mins for fries. Watched the guy in the back, who clearly seemed to love his job. Slap my burger together with the least amount of effort or enthusiasm. Only to be told I needed to pay .25c for a bag. To carry out four burgers, Four drinks, four fries. Didn’t even offer a drink tray. So I found other means to carry my items out. Will return the tray next time in that area.

I went here for a offer from the online app and when I arrived I was told it wasn’t valid even though it is active on the app and when I requested the hold up to the offer on the app they just laughed at me. Very unprofessional.

I never to to this location mainly because there is full size standalone option across the street, but I tried it today. I never actually ordered food because they charge $.25 for bags. I canceled my order and went across the street for no bag charge. I will never participate in this cash grab ripoff and will boycott any place that does this.

This is the latest in McDonald's. For your take out foods, if they put it in the paper bag, your extra charge will be $ .25 and it's a rip-off. If you are not going to pay $.25 you get it in to your hands. Please take your own bag from home.

I visited the restaurant today, craving a hot sugary drink. Mackenzie, a crew trainer, provided exceptional service. When I asked for a hot caramel drink or a latte, she informed me that they don't offer those at this location. She suggested other locations, but I was too lazy to walk. Then I inquired about a cold sugary beverage, and she recommended French vanilla. As she was taking my order, she mentioned she could make a hot French vanilla drink as well. I was delighted with her suggestion and appreciated how she helped satisfy my cravings. Mackenzie is a great asset to the team, and I would love to visit again. People like her truly make customer service extraordinary.

Staff is so rude and unprofessional. I went to pick up an order for delivery and the lady was literally shouting on me to bring a bag and she was so rude. If they are busy then we are also busy. Atleast she should can say politely but I was not the customer maybe that’s why.

I have had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant on 2 separate occasions. Now let’s be honest! the restaurant was pretty much empty both times. The staff move so slow it's crazy! And the attitude when they serve you it’s like I interrupted their life in some strange way!!!My daughter is a crew trainer in Sooke I know the ins and outs of McDonald’s. Someone needs to do something like seriously!

Ice cream not creamy at all, very weird tasting. It tastes like they’ve added water to the batch to stretch it out… it’s like sherbet. Not what I come to expect from McDonald’s soft serve. It tastes like I got a slurpee from 7/11 that was made with 2%milk. Definitely messed up tasting. Aside from the weird soft serve which was super disappointing the place was clean, the service was very fast, and the staff were polite.
