I love McRae's, it's the best place to meet up with friends or catch the game with amazing service. The food is great, but what used to be its shining star was the blue moon wings. Unfortunately the replacement just doesn't measure up
The restaurant itself was very cozy and nice. The trivia (on Wednesday) is fun, but the food was surprisingly bland? I thought that the wings would be flavourful but were surprisingly bland. Especially for $20, eh. The potato sliders however were great!
McRae's is my go-to neighborhood reset spot. I pop in for a quick black coffee and always get warm, efficient service. Riley runs the bar with calm professionalism—friendly, attentive, never pushy. Sofia is equally welcoming. Clean space, fair prices, and consistently great vibes. Highly recommend.
