This place will be one of my favorite cafe! It was extremely busy the day before New years day, but the staffs here were so Kind! I would like to visit here often, even though it was quite far from my house😂 The atmosphere here was cozy but energetic vibe!

Thank you to the team for being so kind to my niece and nephew when they were serving up our mini to go hit chocolates yesterday. It was insanely busy yet the team working never made us feel rushed. They even offered up some delicious whipped cream and cinnamon to top the hot chocolates. 10/10!

Moka House Coffee is such a beloved neighbourhood staple, relaxed, friendly, and full of local charm. The coffee is always smooth and perfectly brewed, and their patio on Cook Street is one of the best spots in the city to people-watch or soak up some sunshine. The lattes and breakfast sandwiches are excellent, and there’s always a great selection of pastries to pair with your drink. The staff are welcoming and remember regulars by name, which adds to the community feel. Whether you’re catching up with friends, working on your laptop, or just enjoying a quiet morning, Moka House strikes that perfect balance between cozy and vibrant. A true Victoria favourite that feels like home!

I went in a for an iced Carmello, they only do iced drinks in a medium size. It was not even full, I felt like I got a small in quantity and paid for a medium. A bit disappointed.

Great local vibe and good drinks, but the Wi-Fi is too slow to work. I emailed the owner in March 2025 when speeds were about 5 Mbps and they said they would work on it. It is now September 2025 and tests are 1 to 2 Mbps.
Even when the shop is quiet with almost no laptops connected, it is still slow, so it does not seem like congestion but rather an intentional bottleneck. Starbucks across the street is much faster, but their fall hours mean they close earlier, so I tried Moka House again and still could not get basic work done.
I only need a reliable 50-minute window while I enjoy a drink and snack. Please upgrade the internet. I want to support a local Canadian café and would happily make this my favourite spot if the connection improves.
Great mochas here, probably my most favourite in the city! Breakfast sandwiches are highly recommended. Great service, and chill atmosphere. Love coming here!

The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean and the coffee is good.
The atmosphere is pretty cozy and the patio is lovely in the warmer months.
This is a wonderful spot to snuggle up with a warm coffee and people watch.

Great place to stop or dine in for coffee, espresso, sweet treats and savoury breakfast sandwiches. I had a mocha (highly recommend if you don’t like overly sweet drinks) with oat milk and their breakfast sandwich, absolutely loved them both. This place is also great for meeting up with friends or general work on your laptops.
