We had the rice and pickle bowls and they were phenomenal. The pork was as good as I've ever tasted. The chicken bowl was also delicious. We will definitely be coming back here.

The food was so amazing. Every dish was packed with complex flavour profiles and textures. We were so happy! The portion sizes could have been a tad bit bigger. A lot of the dishes came with three pieces of the food being served, which was a bit awkward to split between two people. My favourites were the wagyu steak, gnocchi, and broccoli. Unfortunately, there was a hair in our salad, and upon politely letting the server know, there was nothing done to make up for the small mistake, which was disappointing. Overall, great experience and look forward to returning.

The food was fantastic but I had made one request on the reservation, to be sat in a quieter section. When we arrived there was only one other table sat, and the rest of the restaurant empty. The server proceeded to sit us right next to the only occupied table, which felt awkward and made for an uncomfortable dinner.

Pro tip: if it's on the plate, put it together with the other things on the plate and magic happens, I don't know how but it does. If you have never understood how food could be "elevated" or an "experience", and you want to understand, try here. It will change your life, or at least break your brain like it did mine. 10/10, no notes.

Nice and dimly lit, food is the star of the show very unpretentious. My only constructive criticism would be (particularly when you're buying $100 bottles of wine). I think they could add have a cushion on top of the hard bench. It would also help with sound absorption. I love love love the food and ambience here!!
