Had lunch before heading back to Nanaimo after cruising the mall. This place is excellent. I had a tofu sub and it was possibly the best Banh Mi I have ever had. It was on the perfect bun, nice and crispy and all the ingredients were delicious. The sub was better than Viet Sub in Vancouver and that is where I always go when there. My daughter had the tofu salad rolls. They were huge, filling and yummy, the peanut sauce was excellent. My wife had a chicken bowl and she loved it,...

Didn't like the fact I wanted to change item and had to "build my own bowl" which cost $1 more. Surprisingly good portion of beef balls and tendons. I did like the noodles were cooked al dante. However that soup...... was bland. Too pricey for overall portion.

Food for two: $60ish (including two side dishes and tip)

Positive: same options as sit in restaurant. Food was hot. Came out fast. Price is in the $ range. Don't like rice or pho, they have french bread subs (think subway style food). Pho we had was beef type.

Neg: Meat amount in pho is on the small side.

Food for thought: they have kids size pho. They can give you hot sauce, chili sauce and sweet sauce if asked.
