“I was looking forward to enjoying a nice brunch, and while the food was quite good, I found the attitude of the hostess to be rather unwelcoming, which unfortunately made me feel a bit uncomfortable.”
Waited for more than 10 min to place an order, standing directly in front of the pie section. 5 staff, very few customers. Eventually was told I was standing in the wrong spot to order. Food might have been good, I was too irritated to be able to taste anything. Bloody terrible service.
Yum 😋
About 2 years ago they started serving tiny slices of cheesecake and desert.
I swear they have like smaller slices in the back or something and swap them out lmao.
I’ll come back when the desert portions get bigger, cause the deserts are good.
One of the best spots in town. Their desserts are impeccable. I can and have spent hours enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit
Food is excellent if a bit more expensive than I'd like. I've only had breakfast there and nearly $20 for some hashbrowns, eggs, and cheese is quite a bit. Nevertheless, tasty.
The outdoor dining is nice and comfy.

#1 place for a daily lunch in the area. Quite spaicious with fast service and dine-in or takeout options. What really puts this place aside - a huge variety of different food items. From potato salad, lasagna or shepherd pie to a number of combinations of various soups and sandwiches. You can visit this place daily for a month and have something new every time.
They also have a nice selection of cakes in case you have a special ocasion to celebrate.

This is THE place to get a late night treat in Victoria. They have so many cheesecakes and pies. A hidden gem is their peanut-butter cookie-dough rice krispie square. It is out of this world!! It's a bit dingy, but honestly the vibes are perfect for an evening tea and piece of cake. They also have a liquor licence, which is a nice surprise!

Stopped in for a late dessert as they were one of the few places still open. The cheesecake was delicious and the decaf was really tasty but the staff really took away from the experience. I asked the employee with the long dark hair in a half man bun for some sugar for our drinks and he was very annoyed. I later asked if I could use the bathroom and he said they were out of order but another customer was given the bathroom key after I was asked and refused? It was really off putting and frankly pretty rude. I would not return.

We searched everywhere for a Nanaimo Bar when we got off our cruise ship. It was absolutely delicious.

Nice that there's a place in Victoria you can get a late night tea and chill. And it's a great tea selection of loose leaf!

This unassuming neighbourhood cafe was a treasure of a find! Located close to our downtown hotel, it offers an excellent breakfast menu, along with great sandwiches and massive muffins. It became our go-to breakfast place during our stay in Victoria. The service was friendly and all-around excellent. Recommended without reservation!
