A friend and I had dinner at this restaurant. It was cozy and quiet. The food was served quickly and tasted fresh. We really enjoyed our meals. I had a salad, and my friend had noodles with spring rolls. I would not hesitate to return to try something else... perhaps the coconut curry - it looks great! Reasonable prices as well.

Arrived in Victoria from Hamilton, Ontario. A friend took me to Saigon Char-Broil for the first meal of my stay. This small unassuming restaurant served up a delectable meal. I had a noodle bowl with chicken and veggies with the side of broth, alongside a hot Vietnamese coffee. The meal was fresh, hot and flavourful. Our waitress was polite, friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. My only worry is that the rest of my meals during my stay may pale in comparison! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I went there 20 minies before closing. and asked if "there's enough time for a pho session."
I was told, "Yes, we can do that."
I ordered rare beef pho with extra meat.
It was ready in a couple of minutes, but the broth was so not hot, the beef that was already inside the bowl had a hard time cooking!
Obviously, no heat was left in the broth for the extra meat.
Very few things are worse than a pho bowl with lukewarm broth! :(

Flies in the restaurant that I can live with. The Pho, oh man, lots of dark things that didn’t look edible. When asked, owner insisted it’s burnt onions and refuse to make amend. Kept saying everyone likes their food, really?
Great local place. Wierd person taking the cash at the till though. He took my order August 12\2024 on the phone and when I went to take my order he asked what I ordered instead of my name and was just weird to deal with no sense of humor.
had 6d and had 5 or 6 baby prawns. a little costy. $20.00 for one person!

Amazing. There’s a reason it’s always busy at lunch! Delicious pho, vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, bahn mi sandwiches, and Vietnamese coffee! Always a treat coming here to be greeted by the kind staff. An Esquimalt staple. I love getting a sandwich and coffee and walking across the street to enjoy it in the park :)
