A friend and I had dinner at this restaurant. It was cozy and quiet. The food was served quickly and tasted fresh. We really enjoyed our meals. I had a salad, and my friend had noodles with spring rolls. I would not hesitate to return to try something else... perhaps the coconut curry - it looks great! Reasonable prices as well.
I love this place. Keeping with SE Asian norms, the food is always fresh, the portions are always ample, and the prices are always fair. My go to for Thai/Vietnamese cusine in Esquimalt.
Arrived in Victoria from Hamilton, Ontario. A friend took me to Saigon Char-Broil for the first meal of my stay. This small unassuming restaurant served up a delectable meal. I had a noodle bowl with chicken and veggies with the side of broth, alongside a hot Vietnamese coffee. The meal was fresh, hot and flavourful. Our waitress was polite, friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
My only worry is that the rest of my meals during my stay may pale in comparison!
