My daughter likes going here so she invited me. I had the calamari. The squid was very good and tender and the batter was spot on light and crispy and not oily. But they missed the mark with the mayonnaise substitution. If you're going to call it calamari then it's expected to be served with tsaziki. It's not hard. It's like very simple to make. Bit disappointed. Prices were not too expensive compared to other places but in general yeah prices have gotten ridiculously...
Great spot with amazing atmosphere; the staff is warm and welcoming as is the pub itself. We have been there several times and enjoy the multiple areas for when were looking for different vibes (patio, bar area, or tables). Highly recommend.
Not a bad spot usually. Have had a few occasions now though where the service is so slow I've actually left because in the 25 minutes it took for a glass of wine to arrive I realized I shouldn't spend 40 dollars on dinner and a drink and I go home to cook instead haha. Faster service for rush hour / quick drop ins would definitely earn more of my business!
