Sedona Restaurant & Lounge

I live in the neighborhood, and this place is outstanding. In a city where ‘good enough’ often earns a 4 star review, Sedona Restaurant & Lounge rises well above the rest. In my 12 years living in Victoria, I’ve never encountered this level of passion, care, and culinary expertise in a local restaurant. If you value quality, service and being treated like your visit truly matters, you’ll love it here. Quite simply, the only place in Victoria worthy of a Michelin star.

We had an absolutely splendid dinner at Sedona. The vibe is chill, music is perfect and, most importantly, food was to die for. Excellent service. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We were welcomed to this with warmth. We were presented with a small, concise yet robust menu. As few menu options as there were, I believe there is something for everyone. I'm not one to order cocktails often but we weren't driving so I indulged In a rum, pear & ginger which was excellent - the tequila, mango & jalapeno syrup drink my wife got was enjoyable even though she is not a fan of spice.
Shut up though, guy, how was the food?
Dumplings to start, with a spicy peanut chili oil type deal. Heck yea.
Wife enjoyed the smaller portion of gnocchi which I tasted and was actually incredible. They were potato pillows with a perfectly crisp bottom. I notoriously dislike tomatoes but this made me look the other way.
I had my heart set on a beautiful looking burger that I'd seen previously offered, but alas.. it was not in the cards for me tonight. This gave me the opportunity to try the filet mignon. Let me preface with my love for steak. Born and raised in Southern Alberta, I know my way around beef and this was well-worth the trip out here. The demi may have been the best I've ever had. The asparagus may have been the best cooked I've ever had. Couldnt have asked for better mashed potatoes to dress the perfectly cooked medium rare tenderloin.
Lemon mascarpone cheesecake with blueberry compote and a sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream for dessert.. I will leave you on that thought.

The warmth from the lovely people running this restaurant was incredible and we felt it from the minute we walked in! We were so fortunate to meet Chef Yvonne and her beautiful daughter who made us feel so at home and welcome! The food was absolutely delicious, so beautifully created and presented to us… we were blown away and so grateful. An amazing restaurant that’s right in your backyard… GO!

An absolute delight! Love the furnishings. Food is delicious. I had the prime rib which was perfectly prepared. Dishes rely on high quality ingredients and are very clean and unfussy. Home made sticky toffee pudding was amazing !

Fabulous cuisine and presentation.

They are a great staff who were very focused on our family and dog's happiness. It doesn't have the greatest signage, but really go try this place out.

Wine here is amazing!

This was the first time I have eaten at Sedona, but what an experience. The service was top notch, the food presentation was so elegant and the taste was extraordinary. You have not seen the true Victoria (Oak Bay) culinary experience if you have not been to Sedona.

Wonderful Sunday evening prime rib with demi-glaze,served with rosemary infused mashed potatoes, and grilled fresh vegetable medley! Friendly, personal service by Yvonne and Mark. 10/10 will visit again.

We really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The Owner and staff are very cheerful, skilled and provide a great customer experience.

The food is great, whether it's the pasta or prime rib or a steak. We recently had the sticky toffee pudding dessert to end our meal and it was a perfect closer.

Simply the best restaurant in Victoria. One can feel the love of food through every morsel. Nothing is an afterthought. And not at all pretentious

This was our second visit to Sedona's. We had to be sure it was as good as our first visit. And it did not disappoint! We'll be making this a regular must-have dining experience for ourselves.

Highly recommend for party of friends, family, or date night. A laid-back, intimate vibe; friendly, professional service; good wine selection; and mouth watering entrees. The sticky toffee dessert also memorable.
