I ordered veggie hash... It had a whole bunch of mushrooms. I hate mushrooms. the whole dish tasted like mushrooms. When I order veggie meal I expect it to be veggies. Please note to the cooks** Mushrooms are not a vegetable they are fungus and many people are allergic to them so they should be mentioned when they are on the menu. Hollandaise sauce didn't have flavour... Or I'm not sure because all I could taste was mushrooms😕

AMAZING 👏 the food was delicious, I'd highly recommend getting a biscuit with jam. We went two days in a row because of the food, but also the service! Our server was the kindest gentleman, he suggested places to check out and our overall conversations with him were a highlight of visiting Shanzee's.

Great little breakfast spot for our trip to Victoria, had the avocado toast, comes with a poached egg which was well made, bread was very good and generous avocado. Hubs had biscuits and gravy, said it was good, homemade gravy. Eggs were cooked as requested, service was friendly.

I was out wandering Market Square and I decided I wanted to treat myself. Shanzees Biscuit was the thing I was craving. Comfort food at its finest. I had the Southern Comfort which is a sausage gravy on freshly baked biscuit. Yum.
