Great find for Valentine’s Day Brunch! Excellent service and loved the big teapots and mugs. We had the special brisket eggs benny and the fried chicken benny. Fantastic! The eggs were poached to perfection and the biscuits were fabulous. We will be back!

This is a great place - coffee is excellent and pastries are top notch (includes gluten free). Nice, friendly service with an overall pleasant vibe. Great little back patio overlooking Market Square. One Christmas they gave us ginger bread men with everything to decorate them
Very old town southern style comfort food! Great biscuits & gravy, along with blue grit pancakes spot in town. Visited with friends for a brunch. Awesome food & service. Will be back and definitely recommended for people looking for something different than usual.

One of the very best breakfasts I’ve ever had, if not the best. I ate here twice in three days because I couldn’t stop thinking about the food. The biscuits are absolutely delicious. And the Blue Grit pancakes with the maple cream cheese syrup are absurdly good. A stroke of genius. On top of that, it’s a family run place, and everyone who runs the restaurant is so kind.

We were strolling by Shanzees's on the search for brunch. We happened to glance through the cafes window, just as the waitress was delivering a beautiful plate of eggs Benedict. The smell wafting from the café and the presentation of the food was enough to entice us through the doors .There were 3 of us and we each ordered different items. They were all sumptuous. As you can tell by my review ,We all enjoyed. The staff were friendly, the decor was fun
The prices were reasonable
All in all All good

You pay for your food before you eat. I returned my food half eaten - I tried to like it. I used to live in the Southern US - I love biscuits and gravy! I ordered a buttered biscuit because I was still hungry and it was not offered as complimentary… if I had a customer and that was their experience I’d have offered money back or a free biscuit to ensure they left full. The lady helping the dining room was nice. The food wasn’t hot, the sausage gravy was bland, the ratio of biscuit to gravy was off… I don’t know - but I didn’t like this food or experience.

One of the best breakfast joints I've been to in a while. Real bacon, real pancakes... It's not trying to be anything. It's just a good place to eat...

I had a great time here at shanzees and it was because of the great food, the King of the road was delicious and the Louisiana sausage was great with the gravy. The syrup was probably one of the best I had ever had and kept dipping everything in it 🤣 the waiter was also very nice and told me some interesting stuff about Victoria.
