Had a great breakfast this morning. Coffee is excellent and service was outstanding. Overall a very good local breakfast place. The mimosas were very good start to the day.

The eggs benedicts are delicious, and their hollandaise sauces are very good. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Best wait staff, delicious clubhouse… go when Iyumi is on the line. Soup and sammi were just gorgeous. 10/10 screaming bat on the wall, much love 🥪🥣👌✨🦇

Very popular spot! Every time I've gone I've had to wait, but it's so worth the wait. Their hollandaise is fantastic and despite how busy it usually is, the staff are incredible. Great little spot!

A super chill and friendly vibe here, not too loud. Delicious food and generous portions. (FYI if you’re wanting a drink, the patio is not licensed)

I went to Shine Café for brunch, and there was already a long line up when I arrived, so things looked promising.
I ordered:
Dallas
Chorizo, crispy jalapeños, cheddar & roasted garlic chipotle hollandaise served on French fries
I switched out the French fries for English muffins because I like things more traditional. Plus, I felt French fries might have made things too salty overall.
For sides, I got the cornbread, which was quite good!
I do personally think the combination is slightly on the saltier side, but that’s fine. The crispy jalapeños were certainly nice, and so was the chipotle hollandaise.
However, I have to say that the taste does not compare to brunches I’ve had in Montreal and in Toronto.

Went for brunch with my daughter who uses a mobility walker, were offered help getting down the 4 stairs. When leaving someone from a nearby store ran over and offered his arm! Such kind people. The food and the service was excellent. The plates were full and so so yummy! It was so nice to get the attention ie never had to wave down a server for a coffee refill as they paid attention. We will definitely be going there again!

I love Shine. It's our favorite brunch place in Victoria. The food is great and service is always top notch, even when they're super busy the food is still quick and delicious. My kids love coming here, they get chocolate chip pancakes and we play I Spy with the artwork on the walls. As someone with celiac, I also really appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is about their ingredients and how the food is prepared, so I always feel safe eating here.

The food was absolutely amazing. Service was quick. I was surprised with how fast we got our breakfast because the place was absolutely packed with a waiting list by the time we left. Some of the best breakfast I have had in a long time. This is just a little hole in the wall place, but that's what I try to find. Everything is fresh and locally sourced, giving it that homemade taste. I would definitely recommend this place. Portions were large so you left feeling full.
