Nine tables taken up by laptop users who mostly have finished drinks and lounge around for an hour or several. This is a loss of business to the cafe when other non-lap top patrons would like to sit for 20 mins and enjoy a coffee or food item. Many cafes are starting to notice this problem and designate non- lap top/ working tables for patrons who want to sit and have a coffee. With the decrease of several Starbucks in the area including Jamesbay, Cook Street and downtown; this laptop camping should have some boundaries set.

Great service but one of the employee is so rude and unethical it was between 1230 -1250 on November 29 I came and ordered food, the girl with red hairs keep on gossiping on floor with the Asian girl on till instead of making my order and than my order was wrong. When I told her, she with an attitude face instead of saying sorry she started making it again I waited 20 min for my order. How come customers are being so nice to workers, but the workers have whole bunch of attitude towards their customers. And why can’t u wait for ur gossip for later on instead make the order for customers coz maybe they are in a rush. It’s sad but true Starbucks is loosing its standards.

Service at this location is good. The new cold cup lids are impossible to get off. Wasted $9 on a drink that spilled everywhere because of the lid. Really not impressed.

Fast service and great staff, except for the one guy who passive-aggressively yells your name across the room and slams your drink down when it’s ready. Really crazy none of his coworkers have told him how abrasive it is - minus one star for him. Had a good laugh with some ladies one time at just how violently he yells the names.

Been here twice with an X-boyfriend, his treat. Busy, clean, professional, accommodating re special requests, china cup vs not standard ‘Take Out’ paper waxed tall cup for a double Cappuccino. Food is brought in. Made with margarine guaranteed. I definitely wouldn’t spend my money on their snack foods. They’re not a bakery :/ and Heaven knows when those products were made. Their regular coffee needs half cream to taste palatable. Cappacino and Café Lattes are 💯 Great Staff also. Very hard working.
Parking: Oak Bay location. Most people walk to this location.
