This is a fun one at this location. Was served by Ava. Went to grab a coffee and a coffee cake. Said "yes, please" when asked if I want it heated up. Tipped 10% and moved to the end of the counter.
Was handed the hot cake soaking through a paper bag.
I kindly asked to get a plate, nothing else. No comment about the paper bag or anything like that. Just: "May I get a plate please?"
Was scolded and explained that I should ask for a plate next time during my order as she gave me one.
I still remember when Starbucks had couches, actual mugs and food was made fresh all by default. "To-Go" was usually not the norm, so I am sorry for not remembering.
Now Starbucks and the service you get is the equivalent of fast food restaurants unfortunately.

Service is great and the employees are absolutely wonderful here. Great coffee, specialty drinks, etc. Food rarely changes & is pretty basic to simply not good, but all Starbucks are like that. Lost 2 stars because the app always say it's open until 8pm on weeknights and they continually kick you out at 6pm. They should just update the app.

I’ve honestly stopped going to any other Starbucks location other than Shelbourne Plaza!I have a “complicated” drink and they’re always so nice to me when I need to make modifications to it!I get the strawberry açai lemonade with extra base. They don’t know this but I have a chronic vomiting disorder and if my drink has too much acid I will puke, which is why I am so picky. They’re always so nice to add extra base if needed which is way less than at other Starbucks locations because they actually read the drink tag.I’m so grateful for this location and them always being kind when accommodating my needs! They truly go above and beyond.
