It’s always so nerve wracking for me, a first time mom, to go into any dine in establishment with my baby because I don’t know how she’ll do and how the staff will treat us, however, upon entering Sunnyside Cafe, the chef lit up and spoke to her right away and made us feel so at home and welcomed. There is even a change table in the bathroom, something most dine in places don’t have. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing (we got the chorizo Benny and the chorizo quesadillas). Thank you to the staff at Sunnyside Cafe for making us feel so at ease. Terrific dining experience, wish I could give it more stars!

What a wonderful treat to your pallet! That’s all what I can say after I had my delicious brunch. I had the chicken benny and it was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone. The staff were very friendly too.

This is one of the worst places I've been to for hash browns—they simply can't seem to cook a potato properly. Today, I went in and politely asked if they could make sure the potatoes were fully cooked, even saying I was happy to wait. When the owner brought out my food, the hash browns were still undercooked. I asked her if she could cook them a bit more, and she agreed.

While waiting, I started eating my eggs Benedict, which is usually decent—until I found a hair in it. When I pointed it out to the owner, she claimed it must have come from the chicken, which was clearly an excuse, especially considering none of the staff, including her, were wearing hairnets.

I left the restaurant frustrated, but returned shortly after because I had forgotten something. When I walked back in, I overheard the owner and another customer who had witnessed the earlier exchange laughing and making disrespectful remarks about me.

Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing—both in terms of food quality and customer service. I won’t be returning.

Sorry should be a 5* all around. 40 minutes to get a waffles combo when too many people after us got their meal first. Quirky little café super popular, excellent food. But for some reason we got overlooked and when I went to ask what happened no one would barely acknowledge me. All it would have taken is sorry... We moved into the community and would be regulars but no won't go back.

My partner and I both ordered a hash - veggie and regular. We were both very disappointed. The hollandaise sauce plus the scrambled egg tasted like hot egg salad. Neither of us could finish our meal as it was too rich and off-putting. We should have asked for the sauce on the side.

Highly recommend this place. We were there for breakfast. We got the huevos rancheros with spicy chorizo patties and Mediterranean eggs Benny. The chorizo patties were extra $ but definitely worth it. Their hollandaise sauce was a little different than the traditional hollandaise, but absolutely delicious if you’re eating with an open mind. Coffee was also spot on! Other awesome perks, outdoor seating is available that is dog friendly and had a water bowl for the dogs.
