Their sandwiches are really good and you can get very cheap day old pastries that are still quite tasty. Very reasonable coffee price also. Their grocery items are on the expensive side, but that's understandable considering it's a small confectionary store not a giant grocery company.
I love this store! :)
Very charming convenience store.
So much wonderful packed into a small space: handmade chocolates, NY Times Sunday edition, pastries, grocery essentials. And the staff are always cheerful.
Great coffee and sweets
very cute store! coffee was nice too!
A hidden gem for great treats, good coffee and a warm and welcoming service in what looks like a humble grocery store. Excellent pastries baked on the premises daily.
Great bakery products and coffee.
However, a tall lady staff with black glasses (~20s yrd) was rude a couple times I went there.
Maybe she had a bad day....
They sell birdseed!!!! There are so many birds to feed in Beacon Hill park, and no one seems to sell bird seed in the vicinity. But they do at the Birdcage!!!!! Lovely little store and lovely staff.
Excellent pastries, especially the chocolate ginger scones!

Delicious egg salad sandwichs
Crazy good prices, delicious treats and always super friendly staff :)
Great little corner grocery, awesome baked goods and sweets.
Vegan croissants and coffee with oat milk - ideal for a quick breakfast on the go. They also had some (labelled) vegan cakes and sandwiches.
Great pastries. Some food items and sandwiches available. Flowers for sale, too! It was a nice looking building with beautiful flowers outside. It made you feel like you needed to g6o inside. The pastries were very reasonably priced and looked good!
