The Beach House Restaurant

Our server Tilly was wonderful. The girls at the hostess stand were very welcoming.Our food was cooked perfectly. Beautiful, wild seafood. Great wine options for such a casual establishment. Loved the beach house!

Just a great place to enjoy fresh West Coast cuisine overlooking the water and gulf Islands. We ate inside and loved the meal, but are hoping to snag a table in their outside patio in our next visit. Located "close" to the airport and ferry terminal, this is a great spot to stop for a meal while traveling into Victoria.

Gorgeous views. Fantastic food. Impeccable service. We went there for a late lunch and enjoyed everything about this place.We had the happy hour serving size ribs. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My partner loved the pad Thai and my salmon and veggies were all cooked to perfection.Thank you for an amazing dining experience!

Kid-friendliness: Not the friendliest toward kids. The clientele is older and fancier, so the only family we saw there was asked to keep their kids quiet. One of them was kind of screaming, but it sometimes happens with kids.It's a very quiet place and someone complained. If they hadn't, the family might have been handled differently.

We tried their food a few days ago. Service was friendly and good. We got the onion rings for sharing which was really good.I tried the Pan Seared Salmon! The taste of salmon was good. But I didnt like the taste of mashed potato. People have different taste I guess. Overall thank you Beach house.

Ordered the beach house burger with fries and Thai green curry. Both were really good. I was a big fan of the burger and it had a decent size meat patty.

Generally the restaurant is good, and it has an amazing view. Our last visit was just okay, my daughter had a super salty pizza. I ordered a burger and fries and the burger was quite good. I had asked for the fries to be made extra crispy because I find fries can be soggy. The cooks must have either ignored the waitress or did not pay attention.The concern I have is completely unrelated to the food we ordered. We have a severe allergy in the family and it is important that the cooks pay attention to the details of the order. I am not confident that happens at the Beach House.It is most unfortunate.

I love this place. Recommended to me for my birthday, so I made myself a reservation. The food was delicious, the service was really good, and the view was awesome. Will be back again when Im back in Victoria

After having had a terrible experience at the Beach House before, I decided to give it another try. Once again, I was disappointed. The food was cold, and service felt rushed. FYI - You are paying to the location, not the food or the service! Also, the menu is quite limited and very strange, and they no longer serve breakfast. Next time, I’ll have picnic on the beach in front of the restaurant instead of paying for cold food.

We had lunch as a family before sending my sister-in-law back to Ontario. View was amazing, even from a seat that wasn’t by the window. Service was quick and attentive, food was really good, great selection of comfort goods and vegetarian options, prices typical for Victoria. My only suggestion is maybe putting a bit more spice in the bean burger!

Probably the best ribs I've ever had. I followed up with the seared salmon. I loved every bite of that salmon. The vegetables looked good but my priority was to leave room for the ice cream with espresso dessert. It did not disappoint! The ocean outside is distracting, but the lunch was awesome and kept my attention.

Shared a couple of tasty dishes with my brother and SIL for lunch after a nice walk along the quiet beach beside it. Great experience!

This is a large restaurant, on the beach front at Cordova Bay that has been there about 50 years. View is stunning. Rumour is that it has been bought up by a developer and will close this year. Staff was pleasant. Service was a little slow, but food was worth the wait. Fish and chips were great. Nicely done, not over done.

Thurs, Feb 11, 2023, dinner for 5, a variety of entrees, all were good. Easy to find, reasonable parking. wonderful view of the channel. Fast service in spite of being quite busy.

invited his wife on a date, and the place did not lose! we ordered seafood salad and salmon burger and spring roll! everything was delicious to my wife, but my burger seemed very “tasteless” to me, it lacked at least salt, which was not even at our table! also did not bring and did not offer ketchup to fries! although all this did not greatly affect our mood! We were glad to be here, and I am sure that we will come again soon for a date)

I've eaten here a few times over the years. Wonderful location, and today the view of the mountains was crystal clear. Very good service, but I'm leaving a review because I had the best Cobb salad I've ever had, by far. Fantastic.
