I just had breakfast here, and unfortunately, the standard components missed the mark. The sausage and bacon were both overcooked, and the potatoes were deep-fried to the point of being burnt. The toast was basic, clearly generic store-bought bread. On the positive side, the eggs were cooked perfectly. It wouldn't take much effort to improve their standard breakfast quality, and as someone who usually likes this place, I hope they take the opportunity to do so.

I almost didn’t go. A past run-in with the hotel’s front desk had left a bad taste — the kind that lingers longer than it should. Judging from the reviews, I wasn’t the only one. Still, I wanted to give Fathom its own chance.
The restaurant makes a strong first impression. Bright floors, deep navy walls, clean lines of brass and wood. It feels polished, contemporary, and confident. The room is designed for calm — light and space used well.
It wasn’t crowded for a Saturday brunch, which suited us. We were seated quickly, coffee came hot, and the meals followed soon after. I split the Harvest Omelet and Avocado Toast with my wife — both plated with care, both exactly what you want to start a long day.
The service was the difference. Professional, warm, and steady. Every interaction felt natural, unforced — handled with quiet confidence.
Before leaving, we wandered through the lounge beyond the dining room — dark tones, soft leather, low tables, and the hum of quiet conversation. It’s a space built for unhurried drinks, or the kind of dinner that turns into a long night.
Fathom stood on its own. The restaurant delivered where the hotel fell short. The hotel guest staff could learn something from the team at Fathom.
Fathom is a true gem! Excellent service and amazing food—the steak, schnitzel, seafood carbonara, and burrata were all delicious, and the affogato was the perfect finish. Loved the Sunday Sips deal with half-off drinks too. Highly recommend for great food, drinks, and atmosphere!

We sat outside in heated covered patio and were very comfortable. The table beside was very loud but our server politely asked them to lower their cousins they happily complied so all were happy. Food was amazing. Not overly large servings but turned out to be the perfect size. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. Would definitely go back.

Our dining experience was excellent. There is short but more than adequate menu with many good options for people with different tastes. They have a nice wine list and an incredible whisky menu. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was great, for both presentation and taste. It was quiet and the atmosphere is quite nice.

Fathom is such a lovely place to dine! I visited while on a business trip and really enjoyed my experience. Food was fresh and delicious - I had the chicken for my main course and for dessert, the carrot cake. Christian was an excellent server, doing everything with great care and attention. Will definitely be back next time I am in town!

We decided to get breakfast here after staying at the hotel, even though there was no discounts or special offers. It was quite expensive and the options were rather limited. The food was at least decent and the service was great.
There were no vegan options at all and it was hard to find anything to order without removing half of the dish.
