Dine Around specific review: I've been to Fathom over half a dozen times prior to this and was relatively pleased with the food/drink I experienced during those visits. I was very disappointed that for their $65 Dine Around menu, however, I received literally 2 slices of steak for my main course. Two slices! I understand everything has gone up in price but had they indicated the meagre amount of protein I'd be receiving for my main, I would've chosen something else. At the very least, offer a slight upcharge so you can get a full steak.

We ate on the patio at night in February. The heaters kept the environment warm, I didn't need to wear a coat or extra sweater. Food and service were fantastic!

What a wonderful evening I had.. was served by Inga. She was very knowledgeable as well. Got chance to meet Abby the manger and she recommended me some delicious cocktails. Out of which Aloe mi Amore is my fav…!!! Kudos to staff.

As a James Bay local I love Fathom - especially their brunch! The atmosphere is great, from the 'speakeasy style,' windowless lounge, to the unique dining room and heated patio (in the summer they even have happy hour DJs).

The drinks are outstanding, the service is solid, and the atmosphere is awesome. Happy hour is the best in the city.

We enjoyed a very nice evening at Fathom. Ryan provided excellent service and was professional and friendly. We shared and both enjoyed the pork belly appetizer. For our main we both had the chicken schnitzel which was accompanied with a bottle of the Tempranillo which were very delicious. We will be back!!

Hands down the best breakfast I've had in Victoria, and I've been everywhere. The all in breakfast with sausage, potatoes, eggs, toast 🤤. The setting and service is amazing. Love this place

Perfect place for dinner, sitting in the heated patio with a view of the harbor and the lights.

Winter on the Terrace review only. The atmosphere, location, and service were amazing. The food was fine, we got the cheese fondue which was $29 per person which isn't bad for a meal these days. The cheese itself was good, the dipping options were fine, basic steamed potatoes, some cut up apple, baguette pieces (this was actually a very good bread), and some tiny pickles. I understand what fondue is but I expected something a bit more fun than a few potatoes and a bit of apple or that they would spice them up some how. Maybe broccoli and cauliflower would be a good addition or a meatball? I guess all of the money went to the cheese sauce, not the dippables.

Decent restaurant, decent food. Was nice to try a place that wasn’t a chain. I’d recommend trying it at least once. The live music was nice.

Fabulous night out for fondue on the Terrace. They also serve the full menu which was appreciated as not everyone in our party wanted fondue. This is one of the best “patios” in the city I find. I like that it is sheltered, but still outdoors. Food is always excellent and service was attentive. We last went for fondue before it was renovated to Fathom and do miss the broth course of the fondue and would love to see a meat and oil option. Had a lovely evening and if you are reading my review deciding on whether or not to go, please go I'd highly recommend it.

We were so looking forward to the chocolate fondue on the terrace. We were unfortunately so disappointed. The fondue was horrible, the chocolate was so bitter and the fruit was flavourless. Our hot coffees took forever and arrived cold. One server was friendly but the rest were not friendly and all. The bathrooms were unkept, garbage overflowing. The hotel sure isn’t what it used to be. So sad.
