Chicken gave us all food poisoning.

Ordered on Uber eats so cannot comment on the service or the atmosphere.

Chicken was fine.
Not nearly as flavourful as some of the other chicken places. But for Victoria standards, this is probably above average.

Not the crispiest texture for Korean Fried Chicken

Amazing fried chicken, had the gan-Jang 4 piece combo. Chicken was crispy, saucy, and juicy - so good. Partner had the Megan chicken and waffles and said they were fantastic. Large portions, great interior atmosphere, kind service.

Thunderbird Korean Fried Chicken on Cook Street is a total flavour explosion! The chicken is unbelievably crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and every bite is packed with that perfect balance of crunch and sauce. The soy garlic and sweet & spicy flavours are absolute must-tries, addictive, bold, and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, the prices fair, and the service is always friendly and fast. You can tell they take real pride in what they serve. The vibe is casual and upbeat, great for dine-in or takeout, and the food travels well, staying crisp even after the walk home. Easily some of the best fried chicken in Victoria, once you try it, you’ll keep coming back!

I ordered a 4 piece meal as well as a honey gold burger tonight and I was honestly quite disappointed with my burger. In the past I would have said thunderbird was my favourite place to eat but it was significantly smaller than before and had way less sauce. It honestly felt like a big rip off compared to my past orders.

I used to order from thunderbird all the time but I don't think I'll be spending my money there again unless they make their food how it was originally served.

Thunderbird is fantastic! The staff are warm and welcoming. The food is amazing. My wife and I love the Yang-Nyeom Burger, and the Thunder Rice bowl... and recently we tried the Snow Fries for the first time and WOW!

HJ was honestly the most impactful and kind server that I've experienced at thunderbird chicken. She not only made me feel welcome but she provided excellent service and a kind smile. 10/10 for service and the food was so delicious I want to eat here everyday and nothing else.
